Kenmore Dishwasher: Burst hose between inlet valve and tub

My 2002 Kenmore dishwasher has popped the hose between the inlet valve and tub off the connections. Reattached with screw-type hose clamps, worked for a while, but hose was visibly bulging. Finally burst the hose. It's very noisy during fill cycle. Is it the water inlet valve that needs to be replaced? Is there a way to replace the port that actually delivers water to the tub? Any help is much appreciated!

Kenmore Dishwasher: Need help with leaking door

I have an old Kenmore Dishwasher, 665.13693N412 that is leaking at the bottom of the door.

The water is coming in on the right side of the door as the lower spray arm spins around and moves to the left, where it overflows and spills over the left edge, see video. As far as I can tell, the water overflow cycle is in sync with the spinning of the lower spray arm

Did some research and the door gasket seemed like a likely candidate. I replaced it, but it was a little short. How far should the gasket extend on the bottom of the tub, see image of overlap. There is minimal overall on the left side, since the water flow is originating at the right. But this did not help.

Any suggestions as to what's causing this?

Kenmore Dishwasher: Aging Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher Model 665.13269K114

My Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher (Model 665.13269K114) seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it cleans the dishes well and sometimes it doesn't seem to clean them at all. Typically, I throw the Cascade pod into the dishwasher. I've heard both sides about using the detergent door to protect the pod from the first cycle, which is a rinse cycle. When I throw the pod in, I'll sometimes find it partially dissolved near the door. I clean the filters often, and run the sink water to ensure 120 degree water is being used. And I typically run this cycle sequence: Smart Wash/High Temp/Sani Rinse/Heated Dry. I have done a number of resets on the unit using the "Press Pots & Pans/Normal Wash/One Hour Wash times 3/Latch Door." I have also reset the circuit breaker, which effects the same reset of the unit. My guess (based on the 5/13 date on the back of the Use & Care Guide) is that this unit was manufactured in 2013. I also called Sears Customer Service, but they could not tell me when the unit was manufactured. We bought the unit new (probably around that time). I have opened the door after it starts just to check to ensure water is pumping into the unit, and I also have steam coming out when I open the door. And the heating element is obviously working. Sometimes, during cycle pauses, I put my ear against the door and I can hear what sounds like a relay or something electronic clicking. Yesterday, I ran the unit through THREE "Normal Wash/High Temp/Sani Rinse Heated Dry" cycles, and after each time it finished, there was still evidence of grime on the dishes. Just the other day, the unit cleaned the dishes very well. Is it time to shop for a new dishwasher? Thanks in advance for your help.

Kenmore Dishwasher: Dishwasher has no power to drain pump.

Hi all,

Having an issue with my Kenmore dishwasher from 2015. Model is 66513409N412.

The Dishwasher will not drain. There is no power to the drain pump during the drain cycle.

Things I have already done:

1. Checked for a blockage.

2. Replaced the drain line.

3. Replaced the drain pump.

4. Checked floater switch ( just for contact, I don't know if the sensor is broken)

And it still won't drain. The pump doesn't even make any noise when drain cycle starts. I'm about to go hook a multimeter up to the drain pump wire harness to see if it's getting any power, I'm guessing it isn't.

Any suggestions? This model doesn't have a flap to open and close in the main pump, everything else seems to be working fine on it.

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher: Dishwasher fills and empties, but does not spray to wash.

Hello iFixIt community! I have a Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (665.14813N612). I can confirm that the water successfully enters and leaves the dishwasher, but it will not spray. I found that the dishwasher circulation pump filter was completely clogged, so I cleaned it out and confirmed that there was nothing else blocking the water path all the way to the wash arms. I put the dishwasher back together and it still didn't wash. I assumed that the pump burned out from the clogged filter, so I ordered a new pump. I replaced the pump, and it still doesn't work. Any ideas on what else to try?

Kenmore Dishwasher: Why doesn't my dishwasher go through its cycle after it fills?

I do not think it matters which cycle I choose or whether I include the sanitizing rinse or drying heat cycles. My dishwasher is beginning to run in an inconsistent manner. I am aware of the handle not latching properly, so check that before each time I run it. After I make my cycle selection and press "Start," my dishwasher will fill for the same amount of time, but then I can hear & watch the timer run down, but I don't actually hear the dishwasher washing the dishes! If I do not stop the cycle, the timer will run down and the machine will drain, but if I notice this, I stop the cycle, drain it, and try again on a different type load, until I find one that works that day!

Any help / advice is appreciated! The only maintenance I am aware I need to do, is to clean out the trap basket in the bottom of it. Thank you!
