Kenmore 90 Series Washing Machine: Washer hums after filling, will not agitate, spin, or drain

I have a Kenmore 90 Series washer. Last week it began making a humming sound after filling. It will not agitate, spin, or drain.

I was able to empty it out and check the pump, didn't find any issues but replaced anyways. Issue persisted. Lid latch working normally as well. I can manually rotate the barrel from inside the washer and by spinning the coupler on the motor side of the transmission.

Removed the motor and verified the coupling was still intact, and did not notice any mushrooming or smell from the capacitor. I noticed the motor was very hot, but I am unsure if it was outside normal parameters. I also noticed a few wires getting very hot from inside the cabinet.

My washer will start filling and then start draining before wash cycle starts. I have to press the pause/cancel button to stop the draining and restart the cycle. After doing this the washer will fill and go through the wash cycle as normal. This is wasting a lot of water and I'm looking for an explanation as to what could be wrong.

Kenmore 90 Series Washing Machine: Reset part of knob for load size not working anymore.

The knob all the way on the left, which lets you dictate how much water to fill during a wash, has a reset function if you force it, you can make more water come out by holding that part of the knob by the "reset" word. It is no longer working, but has been for years. How do I fix this??? Is there a part I need???

Was working fine then one time after the wash cycle before it started to drain the washer just stopped. No noise, no nothing. Almost like it has no power but the outlet is fine.

After moving machine to do some work behind it and then putting it back, the washer made a weak attempt to start, then no sign of life. I moved it straight back from the wall then came in from the side with a dolly to move out of the way. Will tilting it cause an issue?

My washer isn’t filling any rinse water, it only will spin for rinse cycle. Also at times it won’t draw water when you put dial at beginning of wash cycle, you can move dial to any wash cycle and it does the same thing. I beleive my washer is from 2002.
