JLC JLC47BC3002 Television (47"): JVC SI50UR: Sound but No Picture - Vertical Lines & Tape Fix Attempt

My JVC TV (Model SI50UR) has sound but no picture; it only displays vertical lines. I already tried the DIY trick of placing tape on the flex cable pins, but that only changed the pattern of the lines. Also, when masking certain areas, the lines react to the remote control inputs.

JLC JLC47BC3002 Television (47"): jvc : jlc47bc3002 red power light illuminates but tv does not turn on

First row says: JLC47BC3002

Second row says:: SERIAL NO: TR1DAM024100535

Third row is a bar code

The sticker on the tan board has three rows

First row says: 0500-0405-1340

Second row is: a bar code

Third row says: 20I333C9P149502

On the tan board sticker in the third row, I believe the third character from the left is a capital eye ( I ).

The problem is the TV all of a sudden decided not to turn on.

First there was no red power light illuminated at the front bottom center of the TV. Then after unplugging it for 30 min, when power cord plugged back into the tv, the power red light illuminated but the tv still would not turn on, neither manually nor with the remote.

Removed back of the TV, checked continuity at the white horizontal fuse on the tan board, and meter said it was good.

I have no idea what is wrong with it and can only assume it is some sort of power supply problem. Although that red power light illuminated after removing the cord from the tv for 30 minutes. So apparently something is getting power.

Could you tell me some other items to check in order to try to isolate the problem.

Jvc television: Horizontal line ONLY on some colors?

I have a JVC SI50UR 4k Roku Tv with a weird issue, there's some horizontal lines, but it only shows up with certain colors or shades, not on all the images

It spans the whole lenght of the panel, but it's only noticeable on those colors moving towards reds, like orange, but not towards blues

Lines are more or less noticeable depending on what's on the screen, for example, that's a dynamic background, the line is more or less noticeable depending on the amount of falling snow near the area

Tried power cycling the device only, but somehow I doubt this is a software issue?

I haven't read about this problem in other TV sets, it's always the usual vertical or horizontal lines but I can't find discussions about this one
