Is there a way to adjust the blade when it is in the locked position? It is not straight. The saw veers to the side when I try to cut straight.

My saw no longer holds blades tightly. The "key" just keeps turning in the "collar". The threads on either the key or inside the collar must be worn or damaged. Can I remove and replace the "collar" device? Removal instructions would be helpful.

Craftsman Model 315.172110 jig saw, it's losing power. I ASSUME the brushes need to be replaced. Not having much luck finding replacement brushes online. Anyone know, first, if this is the issue and second, where I can find a brush kit?

Toolmate 800W Jig Saw: IC database that can be searched by pin function

This is unrelated to the device selected above … more a generic question … I have been fixing things for 50+ years … with all the ic and discreet component databases out there for spice and or ecad programs, you would think that someone would have a database that is searchable by pin function … Just RE’d a no name scroll saw which has a speed controller with an IC top scraped off … board is discontinued … 14 pin IC has pin 2 as V+ and pin 3 as V- (very unique) … but have been unable to determine what this is. At other times IC’s and or other devices have burned up beyond recognition could be replaced if there were some way to search for pin functionality starting with power rails

When making a cut the saw blade seems to bounce up and down. It will not make a clean cut through the material. I have tried using different speeds but it is still bouncing

Black and Decker JS660: Need a guide for installing a new blade

Need to install a blade guide to my Black and Decker, modal JS660 jig saw. I purchase a blade guide and tried to install it but was unable to figure it out. I've looked on line for an instruction sheet or a video but could not find anything. There is not a service center in my area. I could send it to Black and Decker for repairs but I would like to attempt to repair it myself first.

SKIL 4235 Jigsaw: Info regarding Carbon Brushes

I have a Skil 4200 H1 jigsaw which I've had a number of years and it has worked well.

The brushes need replacing but I cannot find anywhere that recognizes the model number. Can anyone Help me ? Would the Carbon brushes for the Skil 4235 be compatible ? If have to replace the jigsaw then I will but I am used to it's feel. It's like an old friend so desperately needed assistance.
