Bluetooth worked fine when we connected it to the first device and when we tried connecting it to another one it didn't appear in the Bluetooth connection.

My JBL flip will connect to Bluetooth all of the lights come on everything works except it will not put no sound out it will even not connect to sound when I put the auxiliary cord in it what could be the problem

The speaker will not play audio from any connected Bluetooth devices. The speaker use to play audio not matter the audio level. Now, you can not even hear static.

JBL Flip: wrong polarity charger messed up my JBL flip

I replaced the charging pin of some other charger of same current and voltage rating.

But didn't think about the polarity . when i started charging , it just went off. Now, it

only powers up when plugged in charging (with the genuine charger) but doesn't

produce sound . Only the control panel lights up but the speakers do get connected.

I opened it up and saw smd (028) burned up. Can anyone please tell me how to fix it or

what should i do ?

Hello guys,
Today I received a new battery for my friend's JBL Flip 1, it is equivalent to the original from what I've seen and checked if the wires are in the good color order (from left to right : black, red, blue/yellow). The voltage & capacity is the same (7.4V, 1100MAh).

I think that it's not charging, it's flashing a red light when plugged in with OG charger and seemingly not charging? I'm not sure about that.

Is that red flashing normal or a problem? Thanks in advance.

My JBL FLIP 5 works fine when bluetooth connected to my cellphone. When connected to my laptop, it does emit sound. I followed all the instructions, the JBL FLIP5 shows it is connected to my laptop, I updated all the drivers, yet no sound comes from the JBL only from my laptop’s speakers.

So recently my JBL Flip's battery reached 5 years old and it's not holding much capacity.

So I decided to replace it. But was not successful finding a correct battery. So i put it all back together. and attempted to charge it. Red light flashing and unable to charge. Help?

Maybe I missed it, as the other people asking the same unanswered question but it probably should've been in the parts section: the type of battery to use to replace this? I love this little speaker but my charge is down to around 10-15 minutes :(

Before tearing it down and possibly screwing it up..it would be nice to know what type of battery it uses and ordering it before even undergoing the teardown.

The bluetooth is connecting to my phone, the speakers in the bluetooth are fine, but still not emitting audio from the motherboard. I tried testing the connection points to the speakers with a stripped wired speaker and no sound how do I fix it?

About a week ago, I unintentionally "forgot" my Jbl Flip 3 on my iphone 6. I have attempted to fix it using using multiple solutions.

-Resetting my network settings

- Turning off both and attempting to reconnect

Does anyone know how I can connext with it?

I have not used my JBL in a while because I lost the charger but I found out that the PSP charger fit. On phones the JBL Flip pops up, but once connected there is still no sound. And it did not make the sound that it used to when turned on & ready to connect..

I use it regularly, no problem when I use it with my phone, nor after I restart my laptop. After a while it stops emitting audio. The playback device indicates that sound should be playing, even tests are visual, but no music. Seems very specific and haven't seen a similar case online.

I guess it's software-related. I tried:

-bluetooth module restart

-pairing it off and on

-turning on and off the flip
