JBL Charge 2 Plus: Can't connect JBL Flip 3 and JBL Charge 3 properly

Whenever I try to connect both of my speakers JBL Flip 3 and JBL Charge 3 to my iPhone 7 one of them the music keep cutting ( depends which one is the main speaker) The main speaker I'm connected to play music perfectly the other one keep disconnecting specially when I change the volume, change the songs, or even move the speaker. If I connect to only one of them alone without using the JBL connect feature the speaker works perfectly.

- Both speakers appear connected on bluetooth page on mobile device

-Both speakers appear connected on JBL connect app

- Both speakers firmware are up to date

- Iphone 7 IOS up to date

- Tried different mobile device and even a MBP had same problem

- Tried un-pairing, pairing again had same problem

- Tried reseting both speakers problem unsolved

- Tried turning off all bluetooth devices in the room as the sound keep cutting as if there is something interfering with it. Same problem

Can anyone help?

JBL Charge 2 Plus: Battery not holding juice and sound crackles/breaks at high volume.

Hi,

My JBL Charge 2 + Splashproof has been with me for about 2 years now.

Its a great product and still fits my needs. However, right now I have noticed that it does not hold a full charge at all. The battery indicator starts at 60% (the top 4 lights are stable, the fifth blinks) even when the battery is completely drained.

The sound also crackles and breaks at high enough volume and the speaker just turns off indicating that there isn't enough battery left. I have also noticed a faint buzz or hum in the speakers when this happens.

Please let me know if this is a circuit board issue or a battery issue so that I know what to replace.

Thank you.

Update (10/26/2019)

Yup, Turns out the battery is 1.5 times its normal size. It looks "puffed".

I disconnected it from the speaker and put it in my drawer. I’m keeping the puffed battery until I find the right one because I will need to match the polarity and specifications of the replacement. Any leads on where I can find it in Guangzhou, China?

JBL Charge 2 Plus: JBL Charge 2+ speaker with no sound

Hi there, does anyone have any idea about what problem my JBL speaker might have? The speaker was fine at the beginning to play music. After two months it suddenly stopped producing sound when switched on. (the warranty for the product expired!). After that, it always gives low battery signal every time switched on; even tried with pressing call plus volume + combination buttons, pressing volume up button, checking the battery voltage of 3.8v between two red wires against the black wires. I guess the battery is not dead. Why the battery can't be charged to 4.2V, I have no idea. Bluetooth seems working when paired to iphone or android phone which provides the source of music.Even tried with audio in port with no success. After removed the battery pack with 5 wires (2 red, 2 black and 1 white in the middle), check the voltage from 5 male pins on the motherboard with original charger plugged in AC: 2.56V between 3rd pin (+) and one of other pins and 1.1mA current between 3rd pin (+) and any one of the other 4 pins.

My question is 1)that whether the battery pack should be charged to 4.0~4.2V in order to provides adequate power to the speaker or not; 2) how the 2P 3.7V 6000mah 22.2wh batter pack is wired up to have 5 wires (2 red, 2 black, 1 white); 3) how the battery is charged up with which wire through the motherboard via JBL original charger and at what voltage. Thanks in advance for your instructions, KM
