Just purchased this Bluetooth speaker and it's not powering on. I've charged it for the recommended time and when I press the power button, the light flashes on then goes off. Connecting it with my iPhone, to test its charging abilities, I have to hold down the button in order for a discharge to go to the phone. I may have a defective problem but I wanted to see if a solution as to how to fix this issue was here first.

JBL Charge 2: What is this loose part that broke off from the circuit board?

Its a cube, about 10mm tall, 14mm across and has the number 100 stamped on the top.

It was soldered to the board on the upper right side behind the right speaker.

I have tried that -- but no luck. The JBL app doesn't recognize Charge 2?? Weird.

Hi,

I replaced the battery of my Charge 2 and broke the middle PIN at the motherboard which is connected to the grey/ white cable of the battery.

Can someone tell me what for is this PIN?

Is it a protection for overloading?

I checked the loading for about 10min and it seemed to work (went 3 to 4 indicators)

And any suggestions to fix it? It’s too difficult with an soldering iron..

JBL Charge 2: JBL charge 2 battery problem circuit with photos

Hi everyone, i have got the issue with a JBL charger 2, the problem seems to be that the battery give tension but it is stopped by this small circuit board that manage power source. Here is the photos. If i check the 4 battery pins with a multimeter i detect tension but it does not arrive to the cables.

Considering i can't find the batteries on the internet, what should i do? how can i test those components? Thank you so much everyone!
