I recently bought a boombox from someone that had problems with charging while the light did flash when connected to the wall.

I figured it was the battery that was dead or a broken charger so I got those both new.

After installing the charging light still seems to come on, indicating that it is charging, but the charge doesn't increase.

When I checked the amperage going to the battery it only read 0.2A.

What could be causing this problem?

My JBL Boombox is experiencing charging issues (already updated to latest version). It seems that when the battery level is low, the device displays a red light, but when i plug in the charger, it quickly jumps to four white lights and blinks normally. However, after approximately 20 minutes, the charging stops. When i plug it in again, it doesn't indicate a full charge but rather shows four LED lights with one continuously blinking. It never shows full charge even if i do the same plugging an unplugging continuously for 5 hours. Seems like it takes several breaks while charging. Can someone help me resolve this issue. Thank you

Hello, lately it seems like my JBL BoomBox’s power button isn’t automatically turning on once pressed. It takes a few tries with different pressure levels.

JBL Boombox: Speaker is fully charged then stops working

I have fully charged the speaker and then I go to use it and it'll work for maybe 30 minutes and then it shuts off and won't turn back on again. For a while it was dying and then after a couple minutes I could power it back on again but now it just completely shuts off. Works perfectly fine whilst plugged into the charger and it shows that it's fully charged. Please help!!

Plays when connected to my phone but not via my Dell G15 Windows 11 laptop, I've done all updates on the speaker and laptop.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the speaker, its says paired and connected but no audio plays from the laptop, even though the sound bar seems to be moving in the audio view

Hello everybody.

I have a JBL Boombox that doesn't turn on anymore so I proceeded to disassemble the speaker. After disassembly I measured the voltage on the battery and it was empty. Measured the input voltage from the charger and it was correct. 19.9 Volts and it was also present on the motherboard input power line. After separately charging the battery a little bit the sparker works and shows charging but it doesn't charge aka fake charging.

Upon examining the motherboard I found a chip a the charging circuit tha appears burnt. Cannot fin anything online about this chip. If anybody can assist me in finding more info or a seller for these chips I would appreciate it very mutch.

Hey guys, I have a JBL BoomBox never had a problem with it until a few days ago! My speaker died so I plugged it in, and it started blinking red I thought it was just super dead so I left it on the charger, but with previous encounter it still blinked white indicting it is charging, this time while on the charger it is blinking red, it has been on the charger for 2 days now and still blinking red, i dont know what to do about this i have contacted jbl and i dont have my recipt or box in that matter
