Anyone has any ideas on a Socket 775 Mobo, there is a problems with the on-board VGA, it doesn't work, the only way, would be a alternative graphic card, but i want to solve this by attemptinf fixing?

I decided to build an all used parts PC and try to get bang for the buck performance. Well I have everything but the front panel done. I cannot find the front panel connector. The motherboard is powered because there is a green light on the motherboard. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

theirs nothing showing on monitors.

motherboard; asus tuf z390 gaming pro

gpu; amd radeon rx 580

ram; ADATA DDR4 32gb( 2 sticks)

power supply; Seasonic cor gm-650, 650 w

what iv tried;

iv re-seated the ram like 5 to 6 times., iv tried 1 stick , iv tried re-seatin the gpu and cpu aswel.

Intel Socket 775: The name of pins/plugs for northbridge/southbridge heatsinks

I’m in need of the name for the pins/plugs that are used to hold the heatsinks for the northbridge and southbridge in place. I at first assumed they would be named a plug (similar purpose to what a masonry/plasterboard wall plug are used for), but as we are referring to electronics, the term ‘plug’ are predominantly referring to something completely different, therefore haven’t found what I was after on a quick google search.

I recently stumbled across my stored computer components, and found a motherboard that is still pristine and never used (Gigabyte EP41-UD3L LGA775). I was going to use it to diagnose a problem I had about 8-10 years ago. Found a solution before having to use it so stayed in the package for all this time.

Anyway I was going through the contents of the box today, and noticed that one of the pins/plugs had snapped on the Northbridge, so the heatsink would not be sitting properly on the on it; this would probably cause runaway heat issues.

Intel Socket 775: No display on the bios and fan spin up really fast.

Can anyone help me with my motherboard is an ASROCK G31M-GS. The issue is no display on the on-board vga and I get nothing not even the bios. I tried also remove the ram switched it back and forth and also bought new ram and get nothing at all. Also, change the CMOS battery and no result. Also tried two different graphics cards and same result nothing. Could have a dead motherboard or cpu.

Intel Socket 775: Short circuit at all capasitors when I put the cpu?

I've a MSI G41 motherboard, it wass working well until it stoped, when i pushing the power button thecpu fan starting for only 5 seconds the restarting so i'd take off the cpu and it worked well, i make a test with multimeter and i found a short circuit with capasitors of the vrm but when i ake off tyhe cpu the short circuit gone.

note: i tried another cpu but the same situation.
