Do not have much history on the tv as I purchased second hand. Previous owner states no damage was caused to tv and that symptoms just started occuring one day. Visually and physically the front side of the tv has no damage. Distortion will sometimes disappear for a extended amount of time. Distortion will kind of create a double image in the leftmost part of the affected area but will not exist outside of the bounds of the affected area.

When turned on my TV lights up and after taking off the back cover, the LEDs are on however no picture is displayed. There is a small white box in the bottom left hand corner, but no picture. Shining a flashlight on the screen in a dark room doesn’t show any picture. Sound can be heard when clicking the arrows, but nothing can be seen on the screen. Could this be a bad video board or transmitter sending the signal to the tv and if so any recommendations on replacing it?

My son hit the TV LCD couple of times. First it got a vertical line and then next day the line became thicker. After that one more line appeared same day and then half display became black and with the half black and white. And within hours screen turned black with sound on. I unplugged the power supply and plugged it back the logo of insignia appears and then screen goes black all the way.

Is anyone know which part I have to replace to fix it.

Black screen, images seen with flashlight. Put new lights in and plugged in to see if they worked. The light came on very dim and went back out. Is this a power issue?

Insignia Television: Insignia 60" Back Light repair NS--55DF710NA21

I was handed down a used Insignia. The TV is coming online, but has a black screen.
After research, I confirmed that the image is there, but the backlight LEDs need replacement.

After reaching out to BestBuy (Insignia is their brand) I found out that I can't get the replacement parts from them, and Insignis isn't selling an LED kit anywhere for this model.

My question is, can I buy any generic LED like for a 60" tv and replace the parts?
logically it should not be an issue, but I want to be sure.

I'd love to get your insights.

My Insignia NS-55DF710NA19 55-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV with HDR - Fire TV Edition recently started having the screen flicker. I’ve had the TV for a little over 2 years and would like to know if it’s fixable or even worth trying to fix. I’ve tried the easy stuff (turning TV off and on, restarting the TV, restoring to factory settings, checked other inputs) and got nowhere. Occasionally it gets better but the picture still looks weird (little blocks and stripes).

UPDATE TROUBLESHOOTING
NS-55 780A12 INSIGNIA TV no reset pin hole.indictor light blinking red.cant connect blue light. When it does connect blue, TV has 1- black screen 2- black screen w soft gray light glowing screen 3- black screen w static horizontal white lines and no sound. Trying to do a Hard reset w no remote & no menu & buttons not responding UPDATE ON THE PROBLEM. Finally was able to perform a HARD FACTORY RESET but now red power light don't blink and stays on standby but now can't power on or off and power button is unresponsive. It's doing nothing now
