Can someone come over and change it, please. Please be sure the wattage is consistent with what the lamp can handle. I prefer soft white and am a GE fan, but any manufacturer will do. Also, I don't really like the energy saving flourescent as they cast a ghastly green shadow on my otherwise ghostly complexion.

A power surge resulted. The dimmer switch will turn the light on and off but the dimmer function doesn’t work any more. Do I need to purchase a new fixture or can I fix it?
