The chipped plastic part could also made worse by the fact that I live in a tropical country with very high humidity.

The slate blade are all in perfect condition. Only the plastic part of the outer skate is chipping.

Any recommended fix?

They are definitely old but were in pretty good condition and hadn’t been broken in. Within two wears the leather on the boot started to chip and flake off. I taped them but the tape won’t stay on because of the leather. I am trying to figure out how to fix this issue. Please see attached image.
