After these years I still want to find a way to fix it or finding a working/improved version of motherboard.

Is it possible to upgrade the Core 2 Duo T7300 to a P8700 from a Dell Latitude E6400? I saw from guides that Penryn CPUs are compatible with the T61 and have a spare E6400 with the P8700 in it, and figured that could work with mine.
