IBM Thinkpad 600E: I can not get the fan/heat sink assembly out of this laptop.

The fan assembly feels loose however it wont come out. Its like the fan is swollen and stuck to the underlying assembly some how? Am i missing something ? I believe all the screws have been removed..

IBM Thinkpad 600E: Broke off a keyboard ribbon cable

I made a big mistake opening the laptop. First of all I wanted to clean out the fan and repaste the system. Later I was able to remove the fan, but the rest of the cooler was just too hard for me to get off. Then I put the cooler back in and everything is okay… until i test the laptop. I put the keyboard back and plugged in the cables and the screen didn’t work. So I tried to remove the keyboard, but it cracked when I opened it. And then when i tried removing the cables, one of them broke. So I’m in a really bad situation, because any help is really missing for this laptop
