2000-2006 Hyundai Elantra: Why is my car dying while driving?

I have a 2003 elantra and have recently had issues with it. Over the course of the past few months, it has stuttered and slowed to a stop while I was driving and then not started for a few minutes following the incident Without fail, if I wait 5-10 minutes and try to start my car again, it will turn on. Today, it escalated. After driving over 250 miles, my steering wheel locked and my car started to slow then die. A mechanic pulled over to help me and was not familiar with my model of car, but said it seemed to be an issue where the engine was not registering that fuel was in the car. (Jump start and starter fluid did not work). I'm supposed to drive another 300 miles tomorrow and I don't know if I should take the car in or hope for the best regarding the drive. Anyone know what it could be and how much it would cost (and how long it would take) to fix such a problem?

2010-2015 Hyundai Elantra: Car seems to be intermittent misfire

Car seems to be misfire however there is no check engine light to confirm this. Car just rolled 200,000km and I have never had a problem with car until now. The misfire happens during mid acceleration and is more noticeable during cold weather. the misfire only last for short period of time before it dissipating. Had plugs replaced which helped for a couple of days but the misfire has returned. Any suggestions?

2006-2010 Hyundai Elantra: Horn blows intermittently with vehicle parked and off.

The horn on my 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS goes off intermittently when parked and not running. It always blows 18 times, stops for about 5 seconds, then blows another 18 times. I can push the lock or unlock button on the key fob and it will stop, but will start again on it's own, for no obvious reasons. I changed the batteries in the key fob but that didn’t help. The TPMS light is also on solid, but I think that is a different problem as the light was not on when this issue started. I can pull the horn fuse and of course it will not go off. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

2006-2010 Hyundai Elantra: 2008 hyundai elantra window goes down not up

Hello,

I have 2008 hyundai elantra and it is starting to give me hard time.

The driver side and rear driver side windows work fine.

However, passenger side and rear passenger side windows are experiencing problems.

They go down just fine, but when I try to roll it up I have to hold the switch up for a while (sometimes up to 10+ minutes) while driving

And yesterday, my front passenger window finally died on me and never came up.

now I have my window tape sealed because it is stuck in the middle.

I’d like to resolve this asap but don’t want to pay multiple hundreds in auto shop.

What part do I need to change?

I’ve tried all methods from opening/slamming doors, punching the speaker area etc.

It does not make any noise when I pull up the switch

thanks in advance

Update (04/19/23)

Thank you So first my first gear went in limp mode I couldn’t go and drive so I would switch it over to second gear then it started hesitating so I parked it I change the input output sensor it drove for about 30 miles it was finevand then the same codes popped off ever since then it won’t go in drive or second but everyone I take it to tells me it’s the whole entire transmission which I don’t think so because there’s a lot of sense or problems that could mimic the same problem as an internal transmission problem but it’s not I think it would be smart to eliminate the small things first before I go to the big things the expensive things. Code P0722 and firts gear incorrect ratio code And a guy mess with my tires right before all this happened also before that my car is a 2016 it was running just fine

2006-2010 Hyundai Elantra: How to find and fix break line drivers side?

Hyundai Elantra gls 2009

Checked all my fluids, everything was fine. Changed all 4 of my breaks (pads, rotors, clips...) all brand new, thinking problem solved! Nope!!! My breaks still were too easy to the floor, still had breaks but sometimes it went to the floor slowly. Now my break light went on the dash. So it's something else associated to the breaks. I got that far. Here's where I'm at:

Checked my break fluid, was now near empty! filled it up, light went off on dash. Pressed break a few times, good and strong, light back on dash, presses break again strong but to the floor slowly.

I put cardboard underneath my car to find the leak. Found the drip (nothing's around my tire).

Where it's leaking: Slow drip driver's side past tire going towards the trunk. mid drivers door, arm length in under the car.

(measurement for distance description).

Mistry solved it's a break line. Looked up on Google, said it was an easy fix!!! Part hardly breaks GREAT! Bull, Can't be an easy fix if can't find a line in the first place or the exact hole in the line to fix it, right?

Tried taking pictures with my phone to get a better view. No such luck. Went back to Google to find it's mapped out & diagrams are like stickman drawings. Need real visual from break fluid container to the break line to under the car. A trail...

How do I find break line itself ??? Do I need to remove something like a cover underneath my car to get access to it? To bleed the lines before I go farther?

Went back to break fluid container under hood, tried to find line to follow down to leak (can't see it!). How do I find the line from the break fluid container? Tried to get a good look under my car by crawling underneath, closest to leak (can't see a break line still.

Exactly what I need & do to fix the break line after I find it. I figured out I need tools (but what tools?), small pipe cutter, correct measurement of pipe line size (3/16? Standard), 3/16 break line connecter. Am I missing something?

Correct walk through process etcetera..please!!!! Like your teaching your 6 year old kid how to do it in steps.

Thank You!!!!!
