Huawei P9: Power Issue with my Hauwei P9

I have just recently done a 'screen' and 'battery' repair on my Hauwei P9.

I managed to replace the screen and I am able to use my phone again, YAY!

but...

Ever since I replaced the screen and battery I am now having a major problem.

First of all, it kept coming up with a message saying, "Temperature too high, functionality limited". After noticing this message I noticed the lightning bolt charge symbol had disappeared. My phone was no longer charging so it seemed. And then the phone died even though the battery was on 35%.

So I then immediately disassembled the phone and switched the new battery around wit the old one. (only reason why I changed the battery in the first place was because it was draining fast).

Now this is where the confusion lies.

After putting the old battery back in now my phone still WILL NOT charge. But it no longer comes up with that message, "temperature too high, functionality limited".

That battery was DEAD it had NO power left in it.

My phone wouldn't turn on unless I plugged the charger in. So the charger is DEFINITELY passing current because it is somehow keeping the phone switched on. But it is stuck on 2% and every time I unplug it it dies. It seems to be holding the minimum amount of charge required too keep the phone on whilst plugged in, but without it being plugged in the phone dies.

What on earth has happened to my phone?

P.S I am still able to transfer files to and from my PC by using the USB cable

Huawei P9: How can I get Bluetooth to work on my Huawei P9?

Bluetooth isn't working on my P9. I've tried restarting the phone, toggling airplane mode on and off, checking that apps aren't automatically turning it off. I'm out of ideas on how to fix it. When I try to turn it on anywhere in the system, it starts off dimming as if it'll turn on, but then I either go out of the Bluetooth section in the system settings and see that it's still off, or close and reopen the notification shade and see that the Bluetooth shortcut is either still dimmed or still off.

My phone is model number EVA-L09, running EMUI version 5.0.2 and Android version 7.0.

I've got a slight idea as to a possible reason that Bluetooth isn't working on my phone. My idea is that as lots of the stock apps are missing, that could mean that some internal files could be missing too, such as the ones that would allow Bluetooth to work, or at the very least, turn on.

Huawei P9: Camera App and Flashlight Not Working

I'd dropped my Huawei P9 a few months ago and the screen broke pretty badly. I finally ordered a LED+Digitizer from iFixit and got my screen replaced just last week. But now, when I try to open my camera app, the black rectangle animation of the app opening just barely reaches the edges of my screen before the app crashes/force closes. I've tried seeing if the camera will work on other apps, but it will force close Instagram and just gives me a black screen on Messenger.

I went back to the guy who helped me replace my screen. He opened my phone up again to check the camera pins and he said the camera pins were fine. He even connected my phone to the old screen again to see if there might've been an issue there(?) but the camera app and flashlight were still not working. He insists that it's a software issue and that I need to factory reset my phone, which I'm all but ready to do, but I wanted to reach out into the community and see if anybody had other ideas about what the issue might be.

It's a Huawei P9 EVA-L09. My camera and flashlight were working absolutely fine before the screen replacement. (Everything was still working smoothly except for the screen, really.)

Thanks in advance for any help!

But when I finished and plugged it… it said that battery was on the 36% and Fast Charging…. but a couple oh hours later it says (while still connected and Fast Charging) that its on the 16%!!!

I turned it off and I will leave it the whole night charging. But do you know what could have been wrong?

Huawei P9: Cracked screen, how can I repair it?

Hi.

So my screen isn't badly cracked, I can live with it, it's just overly annoying'so I'm looking at getting it replaced. A repair shop near me quoted 90 quid and a day or two without my phone. Due to circumstances, I can't allow that and 90 quid is a bit much so I'm doing it myself.

The touch function is fine and works very well and there is no missing pixels or impairment in the graphics. Literally just the glass which is cracked, nothing else is wrong. What will I need to replace?

Thanks.

Huawei P9: After display swap, my mum can’t swipe/scroll. Everyone else can?

My mum dropped her Huawei P9 and shattered the glass. I ordered a totally new display with frame for her and swapped it with the broken in her phone. Everything works fine for me, my father and my brother, but my mum can’t swipe or scroll on the phone. She can perfectly fine use the keyboard and open apps though? What can be wrong?
Huawei P9: What to do after my Huawei P9 dropped in saltwater a week ago

So last April 2, 2017, my family and I went on a holiday at the beach. Little did I know that the waterproof bag we brought wasn't waterproof AT ALL. After submerging the waterproof bag in the ocean with me for approx 15-20 mins, we went back tot he cottage and cleaned up. I only remembered to open the bag after close to an hour.

Inside the bag was my Huawei P9 and Pineng 10000 mAh powerbank, both of which were connected to each other via cord (bc I was charging, real stupid of me). The Pineng didn't survive because the other port was left open and it resulted to the powerbank spewing this orange-y liquid. Luckily, my Huawei P9 survived, mainly because it's charger port was covered with the charging cable.

I figured that my phone was okay (because it opened up, again, very stupid) so I didn't clean it up again with alcohol or water, I just dropped it in a bag full of rice and that was that. Fast forward to April 12, I found out that my headphone jack wasn't working, which led me here. (Note that software is still 10/10)

I've completely lost hope with the headphone jack issue, because I can still use bluetooth earphones etc. What I want to know is, is it possible for the saltwater to damage my phone in the long run?
