I having network issues with my Huawei P8. First of all it was locked to a network so I was unable to use other network provider's SIM card because it was asking for a network code. So I used one of those websites to buy unlock code and I applied it. Now it doesn't ask for network code anymore but I still have no signal and emergency calls only readings. So my guess is either IMEI is blacklisted which I checked on some website (not sure how accurate is that) and it came clean or SIM card reader is faulty. I bought it used so I don't know the previous history of it. I also tried to do factory reset as well as setting network operator manually (error was shown). So is there any way to find out that it is faulty SIM card reader for sure? Could it be defective main board as well? Thank you.

More precisely, if you put the motherboard facing the writing of the version up, we have on the lower right a single component connected to a SMD, the component has the characteristics of a black square with a hole with a golden outline.

What's this?

it is also found on the signal card connected to the motherboard with the antenna.

After having assembled the phone again I experience some weird issues with the battery level dropping from 50%, 60%, 70% or even 100% in an instant. I have tried calibrating the battery by letting it die completely, recharge to 100%, let it drain completely again and recharge to 100%. I have tried different battery calibration apps and a factory reset - nothing helps.

I contacted the company I bought the battery from and got a replacement - still same issue.

Unfortunately i damaged the original battery when taking it out, so i cant use that as a reference.

All stats seems to be similar on the new batteries as on the old one, but for some reason the width of the new battery is a few millimeters smaller than the old one, meaning that it does not fill out the space completely. Has anyone else experienced the same?

Any suggestions on what my problem might be will be most appreciated!

Hola, hace unos días dejé caer mi teléfono y luego no encendió, ahora cuando lo pondo a cargar muestra el logo de huawei y se apaga, aveces muestra la bateria cargando pero no enciende

im brian, i work in a repair shop.

i got the next issue with a Huawei P8.

i replaced the entire screen (lcd + digitizer) and after i start up the phone i can see that the screen lights up but doesnt show annything, so bad screen i think.

tried another one same results. bought another one but this time full screen assembly with the housing , ---> ofcourse same result...

annyone knows what the problem is? would be weird that i ordered 3 bad screens (from good companys)

anny 1 got ideas ? i would love to hear them.

I tried to use the loudspeaker, headset, same result. The caller hears an echo of own voice.
