When i plug my headphones and start music, the sound come from speaker of the phone, i have an ipad, i plug my headphones in and work , and its not an apple headphones, i restart the phone and still dosen t work, what should i do?

Huawei P20: Will finger print scanner still work if changed?

Hi,

I need to change the screen on a Huawei p20, the finger print scanner is also damaged as the person who tried to change the screen before me, damaged the flex when removing the screen. If I replace the scanner with a new one will it still work? As I know you cant replace them on apple phones.

Hello, I have replaced lcd on Huawei p20 and now speakers won't work. I also have a problem because I have super glued a back glass because it wouldn't glue back with b-7000 and I don’t know how to open it back again. I really need help on this case so please help me..

I was given a phone what had fell down from a high place, if you turn the phone on / or put the charging cable in the phone, the phone vibrates, a flashing red-light occurs at the top of the phone and screen gets some red&blue&green lines running through it.

I’d like to know if the problem is with the screen or the motherboard, is it worth fixing?

Is there a way to put the rear glass on a Huawei P20 without it lifting afterwards

If you buy the Adhesive tape for it this will not do the job ??

So is there some form of glue you could use with it??

A few months ago my phone took some steam and I couldn’t charge my phone so I replace my charging port. So far so good but 2-3 days ago I noticed that the problem came back and I can only charge when I shutdown the phone. I don’t know if it’s really the charging port or something else

When is charging the phone gets hot
I bought the charging port from eBay and is not OEM

Hello everyone!

I’m a young student repairing phones in my free time. Recently I’ve got a request to replace the NFC sticker/circutry of a Huawei P20. The damage is too severe to attempt any fixes, therefore a replacement part is required. I’ve been searching the web for a while now, and still had’nt located a suitable replacement part (ordered one form AliExpress, but the shipment was cancelled). I’ve seen the iFixit guide, and thought maybe I could get some help here.

I have a Huawei p20 Lite I bought in Europe. It came with a protector that has a flip cover for the front screen. A really great feature was that when you opened the cover, the screen automatically turned on, and turned off when you closed it. Instead of needing to press the power button.

It worked fine, until my chargeport died. I ordered a replacement from WITRIGS, but found that while that fixed the charge port, the auto-on/off feature stopped working. When I put the old pcb back in, it works again (But doesn’t charge because &&^&@@ port). I tried a few more, but on none of them does the feature work.

Have I had an extreme case of sequential defect pcbs, or is there some specific feature that only some of them have? I tired to get in touch with Huawei Service, but apparently they don’t share that information. @%^$$@$#.

If anyone has information, verification of the problem, how to solve it, !&&*, if someone has a dead huawei p20 lite with a functional original pcb I’ll buy it.

My Nan’s Huawei P20 is stuck on bootloop and when i try to factory/hard reset it freezes or goes back to bootloop again. I’ve tried to shut it down and it wont unless it runs out of battery and its a new phone, what should i do ?

My phone is showing lines of every colour on my phone constantly but changes every time my screen colour changes. The screen is normal for a few seconds but they're always on the bottom bar. I haven't dropped or done anything for this to happen and don't know how to fix it. Thanks

My loud (bottom) speaker and vibration is not working since getting the device wet. I have since, replaced the loud speaker, replaced the antenna sub board and the ribbon that links the antenna sub board to the mother board. Now I am completely stumped ! Where can I get a schematic for the circuit board test points ?

Huawei P20: Phone slows down then LCD is removed

I have unusual problem/question. I want to use my P20 without the screen via remote TeamViewer app, but as soon as I disconnect LCD ribbon cable phone slows down or even stops working. Anyone have ideas why? And how to avoid that? I’ve done that previous with iphone and samsung phones without any issues.

I have tried google maps, waze and navigate go… but no arrow is showing up only a blue dot. Which is annoying since its a bnew phone.

Waze says “no gps, showing approximate location”
