I’m having this issue whenever I open my laptop to clean the dust out the vent and fan ( very easy buildup due to pets and the vent being 10mm tall) and my trackpad doesn’t feel responsive after I reassemble it , the click doesn’t work on one side and it get’s stuck in right click when I move my finger across without pressing .

Has this issue happened to anybody else ?

I didn’t track the screw position for the case the first time and can’t tell if they are different on the front under the trackpad and if it’s causing tension issues

Update (11/21/24)

Update : issue resolved , verified all screws are the same dimensions , issue was from overtightening the screws and that creating tension in the chassis That affected the touchpad
