Huawei Honor 9 Battery Replacement

everything are good after i turned on my phone and battery works fine.

but the fingerprint button doesnt work. its completed dead.

i reopened the phone and did the same like battery replace.

i saw a small scratch as you can see in picture in the black flex cable.

do you think that is the reason home button doesnt work?

should i try to replace it? and where can i find a guide for it?

After I changed display and back cover in my honor9, I have low GPS signal. Is there some GPS connector to antena in back cover or in metal plate which covers mother board? Thank you

Would a disconnected screen also stop the phone fron charging correctly?

Additional to this i had a battery ready to replace so i tried to do this today (never done it before) the video i watched didnt have any cables under the battery but unfortunately mine did so iv tore the fhd-t cable. to be honest, i control the phone over adb so dont even need a screen but now the new battery is in place and all connected back up the device still doesnt look like it charging when plugged in and is not showing in by adb devices. It does sound like its powering up, vibrates when you turn it on so the battery is connected….should the phone be able to power up even though the fhd-t cable broke so iv removed it?

I dont want to replace the screen if the whole phone is buggered, same goes for the charge port but i dont know how to debug this now. Any assistance would be appreciated

I have problem with my Honor 9...I can't start phone on power button. When I press it nothing happens. When I put phone on charger phone start itself automaticaly, I can see first screen(Honor 9 text) and after that it shut's down, then again start automaticaly etc. Phone is going in boot loop over and over again. I can't do hard reset with combination tasters. Do you have some solution, advice what can I try, and what can be problem.

Note: All of this happens after I dropped my phone on ground.
