Huawei Honor 8: Weak Wifi (and GPS and BT) signal

A couple of days ago, I changed the back camera of my Honor 8. Since then, my camera is working fine again, but I can only connect to wifi when I am right next to the router.

I changed the white koaxial Antenna Cable and double checked with a multimeter that the outer and the inner cables have a resistance. The cables are correctly plugged in.

Also the two small springs are still attatched to the middle frame (I think they are also kind of wifi related).

Now I am out of ideas of what could be broken so I am asking for your advice. Would be great to get some help since a phone without proper wifi is almost useless…

Huawei Honor 8: Phone screen stays on for less than a second then turns off

My honor 8 started having screen issues today, but it feels like they are software more than hardware-based. When pressing the power/screenlock button the screen will flicker on for less than half a second (everything looks fine in this screen as far as I can tell) and then goes dark again. Pressing the lock button one more time doesn’t do anything, thus I guess this locks the screen again, but then after that further pressing the lock button repeats the above behavior.

I tried restarting the phone using the power button, power + volume up, power + volume down, power + both volume, but the result is always the same. Any ideas on what is happening here and what I could try to solve it? Should I just start looking for a new phone?

Huawei Honor 8: Why does my phone randomly go down to zero and shut down?

I started noticing this problem outside in the cold. I didn’t take much notice of this problem as I thought this was because of the cold. Now when my phone is indoors and at room temperature the battery might randomly go down to zero and it turns off. This is very annoying now especially when I’m in the middle of doing something important. In addition I don’t always have access to a charger so if I want to call/text someone I can’ because my phone has no battery. I’m already considering purchasing a new phone at this point. What might be the problem?

Huawei Honor 8: I've dropped it in water

Long story short dropped the phone in the toilet, picked it up as fast as I could, dried it up, tried the “put it in rice so the chinese will fix it” and the poor thing now starts but acts as weird as it could. At first it said it can’t install EMUI and asked me to reboot. So I did, thousands of times. Now it entered fast reboot, but it won’t let me fast reboot. I managed to reboot it and it says it’s installing update…, going for an hour now, still at 5%. HELP?????

Huawei Honor 8: Replaced battery and phone wont turn on but it heats up.

So, I followed the steps to the letter. The battery went in and I plugged it in perfectly. I immediately notice that the top part of the phone is getting warm (mostly around the flash LED area?) and it still won’t power on. I reseated the battery twice and wiped down the socket and cable coming from the battery before seating it again. I’m not sure where to go from here.
