Huawei Honor 7: LCD replacement for Honor 7x?

Long story short, my Huawei honor 7x fell on the road. The Tempered glass flew off and the lcd screen has cracks.

The touch and the visual display is just fine, only the outer glass seems broken.

Can i get just the outer glass replaced? I do NOT want to disturb existing digitizer/Lcd

Hi,

I want to know is there any way to use call recorder in Huawei Honor series phone. I'm using Honor 7 that isn't able to record phone call.

I tried several call recording apps but none of them worked properly.

Any help will be appreciated.

Huawei Honor 7: Honor 7A battery stuck 100% and charged

Hello, i have Honor 7A for repair with stuck battery at 100% and charged(when i remove the charger or plug in does not change only led lights up and off but the battery not charging). I tried with new battery but no result. Tried to disconnect the charging port but no result. Tried to hard reset but no result.

Anyone can you help me to fix this problem ?

Ear speaking isn’t working at all.

I’ve opened this phone several times now. I’ve replaced the battery, screen x2, and vibrate motor.

I cannot say when this first occurred, I don’t make/receive calls often and when I do it’s usually through earphones.

I have recently replaced the screen and noticed the issue a few days later. Since it is my own phone I was a little more careless and heavy-handed than I’d normally be and I tore the vibrate motor connector. I replaced it with a used and apparently genuine part from a Huawei Honor 9 Lite, which looks identical and works.

I have also just fitted a “BAQ” ear speaker replacement, and that doesn’t work either.

I don’t understand why it’s not working unless I’ve thrown something out? I’ve looked at teardowns and I don’t think so.

I’m waiting for a phone to charge to take pictures. But here’s some random sites with teardowns for reference:

It makes connections to the rear shell. Maybe it’s something to do with that?

I was thinking I’ve thrown something out with the old screen, but it doesn’t look like it.

The only thing I’ve tried is reseating the top section.

So my phone is almost 2 years old and it just shuts off at any given time if i’m not charging it and then won’t come back on until i charge it again.

Basically, one day I wanted to record the subwoofer in my brother's car, when I played it back, my mic was clipping, now it will even clip a little with my 30w sub, it is clipping in different camera apps too. I am thinking my mics might be bad, or collected some dust or dirt. I will be able to post an example tommorow.

Huawei Honor 7: Honor 7 will not charge and turn itself on

My Honor 7 will not charge anymore. I tested the cables and they work on other phones and devices. I cleaend out the charge port for dust. I know the battery been not keeping itself charge for a whole day and need a full rechage everyday or twice.

Before it turend itself off completly, it flashed the “red” low battery mark. It have been suffering some beating over the years, but still been higly dependebal phone.

It also have ove the past months been have tendency to turn itself off and not turn on from sleep mode, forcing a hard resett

Charge port broken?
Battery is dead?
Other internal problems?

Anyone with similar exsperinces ?

Huawei Honor 7: Network disconnected shows Emergency call only

Network in the phone gets auto disconnected and display appear in the “Emergency Calls only” on top of the screen,then need to restart the phone or wait until it comes to normal , usually it happens twice a thrice in a day.

I'm having an issue when I press the mic button to chat with team mates I lose all sound also if I'm using Bluetooth headphones audio reverts back to the phone but returns to the headset when I disable the mic or I lose audio for the rest of the game it's a dice roll every time
