Service centre said your ic ( sdcard reader inside body) hve broken.. And they said your will never get this problem if u didnt change the motherboard.. But i dont change it

My phone screen is blacked out but I can hear messages coming in, I can listen to music, etc. The phone is functional. Is it true that getting the parts replaced will cost more than the phone costs?

I love my honour 4x very much.but what happened to it I don't know.Suddenly it started to give message 'not reachable ' while any one calls me ,even though it has full tower.And if I try to call any one the call cuts automatically.But when I kept the same sim in another phone it didn't shown any 'not reachable ' message while any body calls to that sim.It means the problem is in my phone(i.e.honour 4x).I think this problem might have started after the phone is updated.battery power was also decreased.PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM,IF ANY ONE KNOWS.

The flashlight doesn't light up after it dropped in water, I followed the steps to wake it up by keeping it in dry rice for 24 hours, everything is working, but the flash light does not light up, Is it because the motherboard is damaged?
