Itouchless trash can.: How to repair a touchless garbage lid?

Recently my parents’ itouchless garbage lid stopped opening automatically and I was wondering if there might be a possible fix for this. I tried to find videos online but didn’t have luck. Basically it seems the sensor works but the lid won’t open; it makes a noise like it’s trying but can’t . I suspect it’s the motor but not sure how to fix this easily.

I’d rather fix it than them having to buy a new one.

My red wine glasses have stains. What's the best way to clean them?

I also noticed that lipstick is not coming off in the dishwasher.

With the hard water here I end up cleaning with LimeAway. Usually rinse the glasses with water and put them in the dishwasher. But getting lipstick off seems to be tougher. BTW, I don't drink alone.

Household Item: How to open Thermos' lid?

Hi all,

The lid of my Thermos doesn't work as it should, it has a button to control the flow of liquid and it doesn't work. So I decided to open it up and figure out what's wrong inside. There is no screw, I tried using a knife to open the cap but it didn't helped.

ChiliPad ChiliCube: Fixing the actual Chili Pad

Just spent $300+ dollars to replace my pad because it started leaking after I washed it. Now I have a pad to play with and try to repair it. Assuming you can find the right medical grade tubing, this should be an easy fix.

I have suggested to the Chili people that they come up with a patch kit for the older or out of warranty pads. The answer I got back was “we are thinking about it”. Which sort of says… thanks for your suggestion; however, we are in the business of making money for our investors.

Question: I need place to buy the medical grade tubing. Any suggestions?

I will then need to figure out how to attach it to the tubing so it doesn’t leak. Any suggestions?

Everything looks good, continuity good through out both sides, in both controller in preheat mode, i read 3.3 Vdc running through.... but no heat whatsoever.

Fuses good..... what should i look for to test ?

Umbrella: Automatic umbrella opens when pressed but does not close when pressed.

How do I assemble this? Can you provide me a diagram?
Is my umbrella still fixable? It opens normally but the tarp part does not close when the button is pressed. It still closes properly when pushed through the top.

Parts available in the picture: spring thing, plastic thing, metal rod.
Main issue: The folding part does not close when pressed.

The smoke alarm goes off for nothing. It's summer here, all the doors are open, not a wisp of smoke around, yet it goes off several times a night. My question is can I take this apart and clean the sensor? The unit is a few years old, and we heat with wood so I'm wondering if there's a buildup on the sensor that can be removed. Thanks in advance.
