Hoover WindTunnel 2 Rewind: Tried to suck up a throw rug

I wasn't paying attention and ran the vacuum too close to a throw rug. The vacuum cleaner sucked in a lot of it and I pulled it out. Now the motor turns on but there is no suction and the motor sounds like it did when the situation occurred. I shut it off and haven't touched it in a year.

I bought a new cheaper vacuum cleaner and have been using that, but it kills my back and neck. I have physical disabilities so I need my Hoover.

Can someone please tell me c what to do b with this?
