Hoover LiNX: The brush rotates intermitantly, seems as if there is a loose wire

The suction is fine but, the roller brush rotates intermittently. It re-engages when I bounce the LiNX but not always when I turn it on and off. There seems to be a loose wire or connection somewhere. Any suggestions will be most welcome.

I have a Hoover steam cleaner F7426-900. This is a fine steam cleaner, but the brushes have stopped turning. Is there a belt inside the cleaner that spins the belts? How can I get to it. Also, the little 'gripper' on the brush bar appears to be stripped, and one little piece of it looks like it's down inside the 'turner'.

The rug cleaner roller will come on but will not stay on for more than 30 seconds. The roller is clean, the belt is fine. The switch seems to be working. What could my problem be?

Have a Hoover Wind Tunnel Upright (w/bag), Model #: U6485900

With Brush Roll on/off suction: Hoover part #: 562289001, ask for Flat Belt

Here is the problem:

The carpet brush showed all the signs of needing to be replaced. The brush would activate when I lowered the handle, but it would not rotate strong enough when it touched the carpet. When I slide the carpet height lever to 'low' it would spin fine. But when I slid it down a notch or two it would basically stop spinning.

Motor suction is fine.

I replace the belt with the above part# and with another universal belt and both belts have same results.

The roller is still doing the same thing.

Do I have the correct belt # for this model. (I got this # right out of my Hoover manual)

The new belt is the same length as the original one.

It is not a rubber looking belt. It looks more like a plastic belt.

When I replace it the correct way, it is loose feeling.

When I lower the handle, it tighten only very slightly.

In my opinion, not enough to make the roller spin against the carpet though.

Any thoughts on why this is not working still before I have to pay more to bring it to a repair person to try and tell me.??

Hoover LiNX: turns on and quickly turns off

My Hoover LiNX coordless vac got caught on the end of a rug, did not catch anything in the blade, then turned off. When I turn it on again, after reviewing the rollers, etc, it turns on for quick second and then stops. Any idea what I can do to make my wonderful vac came back to life

My Hoover Windtunnel 72400 hose will not snap into place anymore. This makes it extremely difficult when trying to vacuum because the handle pulls out when you pull the vacuum towards you. How do you fix this specific problem. The suction on the vacuum is fine.

I have a Hoover UH71250 WindTunnel Vacuum Cleaner. The Green Indicator Light is Always On, showing its Always Clean, even when the vacuum cleaner is very dirty after months of use.

I thought the sensor was jammed so I clean the dirt cup, cyclonic filter, rinsable filter, and hepa filter, it is always Green after 6 months of usage. I'm wondering if the sensor is broken. Let me know if there is an easy fix, or I will buy another $200-300 vacuum cleaner.

Hello - My Hoover's brush bar is not turning. I've cleaned the brush bar, bearings, inspected the belt, and just replaced the motor. Doesn't seem like it's getting power despite testing the switch multiple times. Seems like a huge waste as the regular vacuum is working fine but it's useless to me without the carpet functionality. Is there anything more I can do? It's off warranty and Hoover support is useless.
