Honda Lawn Mower: My lawn mower won’t start on first pull and runs rough

i have a Honda Lawn Mower Hrr2169VKA. i had issues with it running so i decided to replace the Carburator, gas hoses, fuel shut off, the governor springs rods return linkage, fuel filter, all the gaskets on the card, spark plug, new gas 93 octane and 10-30 oil. it still runs rough and doesn’t like to start without carb cleaner in card to kick it on.

Honda Lawn Mower: HR214 SX 1985 No change in the idling speed from HI to LO position.

Hi

I had to change the carburetor because the mower would only work on choke and would die on HI or LO positions. I didn't change anything else. When I pull the lever out of choke down to the Hi position the choke plate opens fully (as per the swivel on the carb) the rpm is pretty much the same but when I put it on the LO position there is no change in engine speed. The motor is GVX120 4.4HP 1 cylinder.

The governor arm is free to move but doesn't not move the idle plate back and forth while idling. There are no restrictions either on the idle arm where the 2 governor rods attach on the carb.

Any Idea?

I was mowing with it and shut off to empty grass catcher. When I restarted it there was no self propelled any ideas on what my problem is?

I'm in the market for self-propel walk-behind lawn mowers, and see that Honda models HRX217VKA and HRX217K5VKA are both rated highly. Some vendors appear to sell one model but not the other, and the list price for the latter is ~$80 more . What's the difference between the two models?

Honda Lawn Mower HRS216K5 PKAA: 2 stroke added to oil on mower help

Briggs and Stratton 675exi engine on a masport 800 series

Not mower above in title as they didn't offer masports.

We've had a team put 2 stroke oil in the oil hole on the mower above.

They've used it all week and now it's stopped starting and they have finally told me about it..

Never had the problem before and I have checked for compression and no damage in terms of cracks or splits in the mower engine block

Tried new spark and the spark is there, obviously completed emptied and refilled the mower with genuine oil.

Any other ideas would be amazing.

Do i need a new air filter? Images in the link since it kept crashing when i uploaded the pics to ifixit.

Also, my wheel broke off ( the bolt did). Does this happen a lot?

Also (again) the rear wheel seems to get stuck while backing up. How do i fix it for cheap? (havent tried with 2 real wheels yet as my bolt is still shipping.

also i do have a new dust cover plastic part, found it on a scrap mower. This mower that has a missing wheel was free to take.

When starting my mower up it sounds like a hot rod engine and it’ll start blowing smoke. It’s not cutting grass either. Could it be that the engine is about to blow?

Honda Lawn Mower: Poor idle on Honda mower model HRR2168VKA

I recently decided to sharpen the blade on my mower. I shut off the fuel valve before tipping to its side, only later to find oil would poor out of the air cleaner causing a failure to start. I began to clean off the oil by removing saturated air filter. After initial cleaning, it wouldn’t start. At this point, I decided to further clean the spark plug. Second attempt to start momentarily with a lot off smoke. I figured further cleaning was need so, removed carburetor to clean out the float valve, main nozzle and float in carburetor. After carburetor cleaning and filling up to proper level of oil, it had a rough start but, but, got it to idle after several attempts. The Idle is rough and goes up and down non-stop. I checked for air leaks but, couldn’t find any. I don’t see any adjustments for carburetor control. Anyone have any ideas what can be causing poor idle?

Craftsman 37299 21" 132cc Push Mower won’t start. I’ve only mowed the lawn 3 times. I would guess it had some stale gas in it I’ve drained the gas, changed oil, changed spark plug. No luck. Added seafoam to gas. Sprayed starter fluid in carb. No luck. Will start for a few seconds then dies. Gas drains out of the carb ok, so fuel is flowing. Fuel filter looks ok. Any ideas?

Honda Lawn Mower: pull rope resistance with clutch assembly on

With clutch assembly mower starts fine. With clutch assembly on the pull rope has resistance and won't turn ovet.
