I have a 2014 HONDA City. One of the I/O interfaces is an HDMI port. This allows some apps to run on the screen (E.g. Waze, AppRadio etc).

How can I update the Infotainment System for compatibility with CarPlay?

Is there a way to get the full CarPlay functionality?

How can I update my infotainment system to a newer version?

The issue is that I am currently living in UAE, and the dealerships/service providers do not know anything about CarPlay, let alone help me with this question.

I was at the mechanic village this morning to work on the wheels and check for loose arms as I would, but after the mechanic work was done and through, I took the car for a test drive only for me to find out where I parked that my brake lights were actually on, at first I thought it was just the reflection of light from the sun but on going near it and feeling for temperature, I felt that it was very hot. So, I tried to check for what could have made the lights come on in the first place but couldn't. I don't want just any body to go dipping hands into the system just anyhow. Please help me.

When I start my car, the RPM is already high, then when I am on my way, the D icon on my dashboard will blink and it will blink until you turn off the engine. The car sometimes feels like it doesn't want to accelerate.

I have a 2008 Honda city vtec and I have a problem with it starting. The first turn of the key (cold) starts the car and after lets say going to the store to buy something quickly, it doesn’t start anymore. I have to wait around 2 hours for it to start again with no problem, or have to bring a battery pack to jump start it every time it doesn’t start. The battery is fairly new and reads 12.8 volts..
