JVC TH-M303 Home Theater System: No sound out of subwoofer despite the green light

I recently had to unplug my sub due to a move and when I went to connect it back it isn't working. The green light is lit, but there isn't any sound coming from it. The floor speaker have sound output, but the sub doesn't. It also makes this loud cracking and popping noise if I touch the connection cable while on. If the noise is too loud the sub will automatically shut off and then turn back on, but still no sound. Could there be an issue with the connector plug? I did notice a pin or two were bent and I straightened them back. I've had this system since 2005 and it's never given me any issues until now. Thanks for any help you're able to offer.

Bose Service centre says the parts are not available in India hence can’t repair. Buyers of bose are passionate about sound, difficult to just give up.

The Bass Module stopped working after a short circuit but the speakers are working.

Who would be able to fix this?

My 3-2-1 Bose AccustiMass Base Module no longer emits any sound. The LH and RH speakers operate properly. Input selections AUX, CD/DVD, VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2 are also OK?

How can I troubleshoot and repair. Also, a schematic and parts list of the module circuit board would help.

When the power switch is depressed, the digital screen lights up but no other button responds when depressed.

It has been taken to an electronics place twice.

When it gets to the shop, it works fine.

The DVD plays sound but there is no picture. I replaced the HDMI cable and the problem remains. If I unhook the Bose system and install a different DVD player directly to my TV, I get both the sound and the picture

Hi guys, My Panasonic SA UX100 sound System displays F61 code error after turning it On then switches off after a few seconds. I tried removing all the 2 speaker cables but the problem is still there.

I took it to a repair shop due to long waiting list they couldn't attend me for about two weeks . After 2 weeks the guy called to tell that my sound system is working without any repair. I took it home and played over the night but when I tried to turn it on the next morning F61 error came back.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

Had several power interruptions. When power came back on, system would dimly light up for 5-10 seconds, then go off. Can not turn it on using remote or button. Have tried unplugging, waiting 60 seconds, then trying again. No luck. It is a series 1 model. Bose says it no longer supports this model.

Everythings works fine but every now and the it wil emit a crackling/static/popping sound until i turn it off. Then ill turn it on and itll be fine for however long and do it again.

Hi, thanks for reading my question:).

My IR Receiver stopped working “remote works fine, checked with phone camera, and double checked trying to pair my tv remote“.

I Guess the sensor went bad, I tried to measure any change in resistance while pointing the remote on it, but no sign of any life.

I want to replace it with a new one, but I don’t know what to get.. I was thinking about the TSOP38238.

Can some one help me out?

JVC TH A35: Only the sub and center speaker working?

I have this home cinema with only the subwoofer and the central speaker working. The unit boots up with blue light, so no protection mode nor short detected. All fonctions are available (radio, cd, aux etc...).
I have the schematic of it but no idea what to look at and how. Seems that the sub and center speaker are both connected to the same relay but I don't get how the 3 other have failed as they are all powered from the same supply?

Bose 3-2-1 Home Entertainment System: How do you open it without damage?

My unit has failed after so many years of use. I’d like to open it up and see what I see to try and fix it.

How do you open it without breaking clips or marking the plastics? I can’t find an obvious way to disassemble the main unit.

There are only a couple videos on YouTube showing how to open this device and they all use a flat screwdriver to pry against the plastic which leaves serious marks and dents in the device. I have tried prying there with my ifixit plastic tools but no luck: I can’t get it to open.

I can un clip the front faceplate (the gray one) but can’t fully remove it because the DVD tray door is stuck shut and holds it. The unit won’t power so I can’t open the DVD tray and I don’t see any manual release for it.

Any pointers appreciated.
