Holmes Blizzard Fan: How to connect fan motor without switch and capacitor

Hi Guys,

I have a Honeywell fan and it stopped working. I tried to connect the motor to the electricity and I found that the motor works. Here is the picture of the motor:

Now, there is a high probability that the switch or the capacitor is not working. Here is the picture of the switch and capacitor:

I tried to directly connect the motor to the electricity but the problem is that the motor has 6 cords but the electrical cord has two and I don’t know how should I connect the electricity to the fan without switch and capacitor.

I tried to connect the electrical cord to the two random cords but the direction of rotation is different and it makes a bad smell after a few seconds! Here is a picture of the cords

Thanks.
