The Hisense Sero 8 section is incredibly vague with the first step to every guide. What tool is needed other than 'plastic' to open it? A;so here is the section that separates the face plate to the back? Are there any bits that may hinder the tablet being separated, like hooks?

(I'm a first-timer here).

Hello everyone, I dropped my Sero 8 tablet from desk height (cracking the digitizer in the process). When I turn it on, I can see my lock screen clearly (therefore the LCD must be fine), but the digitizer doesn't pick up input anywhere on the screen.

I think I know how to remove the broken digitizer, but how do I put on a new one?

And could someone provide a summary of removing the digitizer for the Sero 8 just so I can be sure I know how to do it?

What tools do I need? What tools would be useful but not essential? I know I need a blow dryer, and dinky little screwdrivers (what kind/size though?), some things to pry the screen off (and some things to put between the digitizer and the LCD prevent the adhesive from re-adhering)...

Anyone have recommendations for what I buy?

Tab will charge for 2 hours and be at 10:% or it will charge and when I used it for like 5 min itwil go o zero how much would it cost to fix the battery and charging port

Hisense Sero 8: Dont know the decrypt password

I turned my Tablet on and the screen says type password to decrypt storage. It has never done this, I have never put a password on it, and it wont let me go past that screen, won’t even give me an option to factory reset, it’s either power off or type in the password. How do I get this off?

When i'am trying to update my system software, "Network error ! please try again later" is the error that keeps popping up.

The WiFi is connected though. Why is this happening ?

Hisense Sero 7 Pro: What does the red battery icon mean

the battery icon shows up briefly when I try to power. the icon is red has exclamation point in the middle and charge or lighting bolt symbol under battery icon. also I removed the batt. and tested volts at pos. and neg. has a reading of 3.59v it has 3 other wires on same connector 2 blue and 1 white between the 2 blues so while never moving the pos. probe off the terminal I moved neg probe to the blue wire it read 3.59v as well moved neg. probe to white wire reading was 1.79v then checked the other blue wire it to read 1.79v. battery was not puffed up, did not smell and I never noticed it to be hot. I noticed some lettering on the charge circuit protection board attached to batt. at each of the wires mentioned and particularly the 2 blue and white the white and blue with voltage of 1.79 had the letters SCL at white wire and SDA at blue. the other blue with volt reading of 3.59v had letters TH. im hoping this may mean something to somebody out there,

my hisense Sero 8 E2281 needs a new screen (again). i ordered a replacement digitizer but was not aware that the frame was not included. Seperating the glass from the frame proved dificult. and my new screen got cracked in the replacement process. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN ORDER A NEW DIGITIZER SCREEN WITH THE FRAME AND IF SO, PRICE??? Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

Hisense Sero 8: The tablet blacks out then powers back on saying it needs a password

The tablet will suddenly blackout and you have to wait a few seconds before it turns itself back on. Once it comes on it says it needs a password to decrypt the storage, but a password was never put on it. It cannot be opened and the only half-solution I have found is to factory reset the thing, meaning everything on the tablet is lost.

Any ideas what the password could be?

Hisense Sero 8 f5281

Hi all just found my daughters old sero 8 pro f5281 and wish to know if any has ever change digitizer as 1/4 of screen has gone off. I was to view all old photos on it but can't see so wish to know if anyone has any idea how to open it up to see if ribbon has just worked it's way out. Thanks in advance all
