Wahl Lithium Ion Trimmer: How do I disassemble my Wahl Stainless Steel Lithium Ion + Groomer?

I researched and bought a Wahl Stainless Steel Lithium Ion + Groomer to help me stay within regulations as I was deploying to the Middle East.

During my research I found a number of complaints about the on/off switch failing and the ability of the groomer to accept a charge.

Initially the unit I bought worked well and had no problem with either the switch or charging. However, after owning it for about a year with light use, both of these problems emerged and now I can only turn it off by inserting the plug in the recharging jack.

In order to repair/troubleshoot the problems I need to know how to disassemble the razor/groomer.

Anyone completed a battery repair/replacement?

Mine has just stopped taking charge.

Oh, the on button is broken as well...

EDIT:

It's the Theragun Elite (https://www.therabody.com/uk/en-gb/elite...) from a few years back - there is no swappable battery.
EDIT 31/12/2024

Found this page that shows the battery in question but I can't read the langauge so no idea...I can't find a replacement battery, sadly.

Health And Personal Care: How to repair a curling iron which has been burnt out?

I, by accident plugged my TopStyler curler into a normal AUD 240V connector, instead of my 120V step down converter. As a result of this, the lights on the device flicked on then back off, I'm guessing it burnt out due to too much power. None the less, the device now doesn't turn on at all. I am planing on purchasing another one, but since I have this one, I figure I should at least TRY and see if anything noticeable has broken etc.

So has anyone got any suggestions??

When I undo the screws I see a complex circuit board type thing. I don't know where to start even.

Going by what I can see, it appears the fuse has blown. It should be clear, however it is slightly brown in one section, so im guessing that's the part which will need to be replaced?

Next question, where can you buy fuse's from? can you even buy them/replace them?

I noticed the device fuse says 125V 6.3 A - What does this mean?

Regardless, the way I see things is, it's already broken, nothing worst can possibly be done to it so anyone who knows anything about burnt out things, any suggestions count.

Thanks!

EDIT: Okay this is the part I took out:

I'm not sure if the little 'cap' you see at either side should have came off, but I couldnt manage to take the cap off the fuse, as a result of that the fuse broke in half (as you can see). I tried to get a close up picture of EXACTLY what the fuse says. One side states "125V" the other side states "3G 6.3A" I understand that the 6.3A is the amps? Not sure about the 3G part though.

I'm from Australia and I've contacted a few department stores and they have been telling me that a lot of AU stores wont stock "125V", So now I'm looking to eBay.

I'm guessing I will need to buy a fuse that has the hooks at either side, since the caps came off when the fuse broke and otherwise there would be no way of holding them in place.

If you could be so kind as to perhaps post a link to eBay with the correct fuse I need I'd be very grateful.

Thanks again!

NEW EDIT:

This is what the whole board looks like

This is a close up of the place where the fuse was taken from

This is the reverse side

Theragun: How do I open the case on the Theragun Elite to access the battery?

Hi everyone, I've come here for some help fixing a Theragun Elite.

To give you the backstory, as this may help out others, I bought this as a gift for my wife, but the device would not take a charge. We returned this to the retailer who exchanged it for another new device, but that had the same fault. Looks like there are hundreds of them with dud batteries.

Having done our research this is a really common fault and we were advised by the manufacturer that it would be best to replace with them directly.

What they did was send us out a brand new unit, directly and asked us to "dispose" of the faulty one. That doesn't seem like the right thing to do, so I wanted to see if I could do a repair on this and then give this to a family member.

However, I can't get much further than this (see pics)

I don't want to wreck the casing any more than I have done already. Any suggestions with annotations and arrows would be very helpful :)

The upper spindle on which the brush snaps into place appears to be constructed partially of plastic. While the brush is vibrating it rubs against a metal portion, especially when the user is pressing the brush against his teeth. My toothbrush now does not operate. Once even the slightest pressure is applied to brushing my teeth the vibration ceases. If no pressure is applied, as in not touching my teeth with the brush, the toothbrush vibrates as it should. This is poor design for the obvious reason - one has to apply pressure and in doing so the plastic part deteriorates making the electric toothbrush useless. Is this a know defect? Can I get my expensive toothbrush replaced? have you made alterations in your latest version?

Thank you,

Yesterday my 3757 Oral B toothbrush worked fine; it was fully charged. This morning it worked briefly, then turned off, and finally the on button doesn’t work at all. I don’t know the age of this product—is it repairable?

One of the heating pads on my Fahrenheit Flat Iron is not heating up. I have plugged it in to several different outlets to make sure it wasn't the outlet that was causing the problem. How could I fix this problem without having to replace the whole unit?
