I typically have connected my laptop to the go + play unit through the 3.5 mm auxiliary input stereo port on the go+play to play youtube music videos. Now the circular plastic part within the port has completely broken off so that the 3.5mm jack on the chord that connects the laptop earphone jack to the unit’s stereo jack no longer fits snugly, and, therefore, no electrical connection is established.. How can I get this fixed? I have loved the sound quality I get from the go + play unit. A frustrated consumer as I cannot find any repair shops that will fix it.

Harman Kardon Go Play 2: Standard vs. Rechargeable batteries

Hello,

My Harman Kardon go play 2 takes 8 D cell batteries. Each being 1.5 volts, that makes 12 volts of power. Rechargeable batteries operate at 1.2 volts giving me 9.6 volts. I've read that some electronics are sensitive to voltage changes like this and will fry while others are not. Is it safe to use rechargeable batteries in the Go play 2?

Thank you
