Harman Kardon Soundsticks II: Speakers not working although the main base is. Any suggestions thanks

Hello we use our speakers for our DVD player which is linked to a monitor not a TV. They have worked perfectly and now they don’t. It could be due to power surges we have had but the base work really well its the connection to the speakers which is the problem. The attachment from the base to the speakers may be the problem. Can this be replaced at all? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II: My sound sticks have busted open, best way to close them back up?

I have owned this set of sound sticks since they released, they did an amazing job and I'd like to keep using them, I am not sure if they did but I think they may have hit the ground, which has resulted them in croaking at higher volumes and the thing that bothers me the most is that the two parts that make up the stick don't stay together anymore. Is there by any chance a tutorial on how to fix this

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II: Left speaker is much quieter than Right

My SoundSticks II have been giving great sound since 2005, but I recently noticed that the left speaker is much quieter than the right. The sound is not distorted, but it less than half as loud, giving a useless stereo image. When listening to each of the four drivers, it seems as though they are all working equally.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II: I need a wiring diagram or service manual for the soundsticks II

I have a Harman/Kardon SoundSticks II subwoofer without any satellites (L & R), so I don’t have a volume control for it. I’ve had some luck with jumping two pins on the right speaker connector and connecting two speakers to the left speaker RCA jack. I would need some sort of wiring diagram or service manual If I want to figure out how to wire up the right channel (I want to use the system in stereo) without the volume control.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II: Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II Speaker Impedance

Need to ask if anybody knows the impedance rating of each of the eight (8) one (1) inch speakers on the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II? Is it 4 Ohms or 8 Ohms? Looked every where without success and good grief even Harmon Kardon don’t even know!! If anybody also knows a good source to replace them please share that info.

Thank you

Update (07/17/2020)

All;

Found out the speakers are 8 Ohms impedance. Ordered 8 on eBay from a company in China and installed them within 60 minutes. Soundsticks II never sounded better. There are plastic 4 clips holding down each speaker and care must be taken. Best to use a small screwdriver to gently push one clip away from the speaker housing while pulling up and using a finger to push away the adjacent clip as well. Bonus: Each speaker removed has a very powerful permanent magnet that I now use as a fancy decoration piece.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks II: I'm getting a constant high pitched squeal through my HK Soundsticks

As the title says, I'm getting a high pitched squeal that remains consistent regardless of volume settings. I've tried different USB ports between my display monitor and my iMac to determine it wasn't an audio output on the device, and I plugged in different speakers that also use RCA jacks to make sure it wasn't just the speakers, which it wasn't. With the replacement speakers, I still got the same high pitched interference.

I do hear it coming from the sub as well, so I'm not sure if there's some sort of output amp in there that may be going bad, but I've tried everything I could by process of elimination to determine where the issue may lie. Anyone had experience with these?
