my onyx studio 3 wont stay turned on. and will only attempt to power up if its plugged into the charger. when i do so it turns on then right back off.i I have replaced the battery and the charging cord.No lighgts work when it is plugged ingto the charger either.Lights do work when i try to turn it on while its plugged in

Hi,

I bought my speakers maybe 4 years ago, I have not used them in 2 years but when I recently tried to use them they were not working. It seems that either the battery died, the charging port got damage or the charger does not work, but basically I cannot use them because it does not charge.

I would like to find a list of repair shops (considered good by Harman/ Kardon) in NYC to repair it. Is there a repertory somewhere?

I would really like to use them again!! Thank you for your help!

My harman kardon onyx studio 2 one day turned off, since then bluetooth, phone, volume button does not respond. The power button works, the speaker turns on, connects to the previously paired phone. However, it is not possible to adjust the volume or connect to another device via bluetooth. Is there a chance to fix it? Warranty expired a long time ago, but it's still a well-sounding speaker.

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the battery playtime of my Harman Kardon Onyx studio 4.

On max volume it lasts barely 1h30min whereas it used to last at least 3h (it should last a theoretical 8h of playtime on normal volume).

Thinking that the battery life had ended, I replaced it with a new one and charged it as recommended but the problem persisted.

I replaced the battery with another new one thinking that the other may be defective but the problem is the same.

When plugged to a wall outlet, the speaker works for as many hours as needed, it charges as well, so I don't think there's a problem in the power input. The battery lasts for more than 3 hours on normal volume.

I have another same speaker but newer and the battery lasts for more than 3h on max volume.

What could be the problem? Could it be the charging circuit ?
