ORFELD EV-660-S222: Vacuum cleaner circuit not working, trying to understand why

Hello, i'm trying to understand why the circuit board of EV660 is not working correctly.

Basically when i push the ON/OFF button, no power is sent to the vacuum motor, because there is no voltage on the two connectors.

In picture 1 you can se the two orange pins/connectors going to the vacuum engine, to provide 22.5V DC and make it run.

I've tested the on/off switch for continuity on pins and i can measure that when you press it there is continuity between lines, but when it's not pressed, red and black line are not connected. The voltage between theese two lines is 24.51V DC, delivered by the battery pack underneath the circuit. In picture 1 you can see how the battery pack is charged, through the 4 wires on the right side, connecting to the wall charger.

Picture 3 is the battery pack and the missing voltage of 22.5V expected to power the vacuum engine.

What else can i check?

Thanks for your help

Handheld Vacuum: dirt devil scorpion plus max - dirt cup inlet flap has gone missing

I have a dirt devil scorpion plus max - SD30025B. somewhere, somehow the little rubber flap on the inside of the dirt cup has gone missing. It's the 'cover' that keeps dirt from going back out of the dirt cup when the vacuum is in use. Wondering if anyone has ideas about how to craft a replacement. I can't find that an official replacement part is available for sale.

Handheld Vacuum Cleaner: Vacuum cleaner switches off immediately

I have this vacuum cleaner for only 3 months. It stopped working - when I press the switch button, the 3 LED flashing, motor is running for half a second and the device is switching off.

The device has 1 switch button: first press - half speed, second press - maximal speed. third press- switches off.

I checked the motor capacitor - it is ok. I connected the battery to the motor - it works continuously, thus the battery is not faulty.

The voltage that comes to the motor after pressing the switch button once is about 2v (even for lower speed looks too low). The motor designated voltage is 7.4v.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Kenmore 78423: Any advice on how to clean the pleated filter?

It is impossible to find any information on this vacuum on the internet! I see that this Kenmore model (115.78423210) has been discontinued, but I need to clean the pleated filter since I cannot find any replacement parts on this discontinued vacuum.

I am wondering if the part with the pleated filter can be soaked in a cleaning solution, or not (something like white vinegar). I also lost the foam filter (black on one side, white on the other) which goes next to the pleated yellow filter. I am unsure if the pleated filter is a HEPA filter or not, since there is no online manual for this particular model.

Having lost the foam black and white filter, the pleated filter is getting everything stuck between the pleats. Taking a toothbrush to the filter and brushing the debris out is no longer effective.

Any advice on whether I can soak the pleated filter?...or suggestions for another efficient way to clean it out?

Also any suggestions as to if there is a foam filter that I can buy which is compatible with this vacuum? (I measured the plastic casing of the pleated filter to see what size foam filter it would need and I measured about 4.25" x 4.25")

Thanks in advance!

Kenmore 78423: Source of bin filters for the 115 series models?

I have one of these little vacuum cleaners, and it works a treat. But the bin filter needs replacing, and I have found it impossible to locate anything online to replace it. Every filter out there is for the 116 series; they are rectangular in shape and too large. The 115 series (this model) take a square filter about 4.25 or 4.5 inches on a side. If anyone has any idea where to find replacements, I would love to know.
