I have a Hamilton Beach Model 48465 (similar looking to 48464). The metal filter where the coffee dispenses is partially clogged. Is there a way of either replacing the filter or deep cleaning the filter?

Thank you,

I was cleaning the water reservoir when the bottom assembly came apart and I cannot figure out how to put it back! I lost the gasket/O ring in the process too! Maybe some other part as well. What I’m left with is a small black needle valve and spring valve. Is something else missing other than the gasket/O ring?!

Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker: Fix over-heating power cord on a Hamilton-Beach M/N 40622R Percolator.

The push-in style power cord for my Hamilton-Beach M/N 40622R gets worn very easily and will not pass electricity to the percolator, becomes unbearably hot…or both. It appears the inside of the plug and the contacts on the pot become corroded over time which inhibits electrical contact. The contacts in the plug also become ‘splayed’ out, which also inhibits good electrical contact. I have tried 2 different Percolators, 3 different after-market cords, with little success. They always wear out over time…usually within a couple months. What is the best solution for this problem?
