HTC Windows Phone 8S: Windows phone os 8.1 is broken

There is a phone that get an error screen like on pc when you broke windows os. I couldn't get to any way to fix it by myself. The official repair program isn't working, cuz i can't reach "repair mode" on this device.

Basically, I found my old HTC Shadow and put in its battery (charged). It powers on but the screen doesn't display anything.

Over the past few months, I have been having problems with my phone keeping enough battery life through-out the day. Before I had this problem, my phone lasted for a solid 8 hours when I took it off of the charger. Now it can barely last for a couple of hours. Is there a problem with the battery or should I get a new one?

When I open the back of the phone its seemed that the screws wont get off no matter what size of a screwdriver I use, is there any other way? I want to put on a new screen because I dropped the phone and the screen cracked.

Hello, friends! My HTC phone SD memory card recently just asks to format when it was used on my Windows 8 computer. However, when I click Yes to format SD card with my computer phone SMS, games, files and photos, windows just says windows was unable to complete to format? Honestly, I have used Google to search for the related windows unable to complete the format error problems and also am wondering to select a formatting program? Do you have any recommendation? Is such software helpful for my case? Thanks for any suggestion here!

I have tried to do factory reset to no avail. When i press volume down + power key it keeps on vibrating and when i press volume up +power key, an icon appears and there is no other step from there.

Dude! I just followed your instructions and everything worked great except at step 3 when I separated the chassis from the frame, the spudger flipped out of the case, flew up and hit me in the eye. I jumped and knocked the ziplock bag off the table and my cat ran over and grabbed it and ran off with it. Now I don't have any screws to put my phone back together. Any suggestions?

Hey guys,

I really need help with my HTC Windows Phone 8s. One or two years ago, i stopped using it, so i powered it off as usual and kinda forgot about it. Now i broke my new phone a couple of days ago and wanted to use the HTC again - but it doesnt respond to anything at all. No matter what i do, it will not vibrate, the screen will not turn on, ne notification LED stays dark.

Then i tried to "reset the charging logic" by pressing and holding down power+vol up+vol down for two minutes as suggested here:

After i did that, still nothing. so i thought, maybe removing the battery could help. so i did, and when i plug it in without the battery the amber coloured notification LED will come on for half a second or so, then go off again leaving the phone unresponsive to whatever action. When i plug the battery back in and then plug the phone into the wall charger again, the notification LED will again switch on in an amber color for about half a second, no response afterwards. However, if i try to do it again with the battery plugged in, the LED will NOT come on again. In order to archieve that i have to unplug the battery and plug just the logic board in. I also tried this with one brand new battery and the original one because i thought the battery might be faulty.

If anyone is able to help that would be very very highly appreciated.
