HTC One Mini: HTC One Mini Bootloader Loop

Hi there,

First some info on the status of the phone:

LOCKED

M4_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RL

HBOOT-2.22.0000

OS-4.14.401.2

Aug 12 2015, 18:31:50.0

My HTC One Mini is stuck in fastboot mode loop. Trying to boot to recovery or normal will just take me to fastboot, while none of the options in bootloader work (they mostly just reboot my HTC back into fastboot).

The phone is recognized in fastboot most of the time, and I was able to get the OEM code to unlock the bootloader, and while I could run the unlock code:

sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)... OKAY [ 0.154s]

writing 'unlocktoken'... INFOunlock token check successfully

OKAY [ 0.009s]

finished. total time: 0.164s

Nothing happens on the phone screen. Most fastboot commands dont bring any success. E. g. erase cache fails or trying to update things fails, too.

My Win10 PC recognizes the device as "My HTC" when in fastboot USB. I’ve tried the rubber band fix, I’ve tried the FUU fix, and I’ve tried “fastboot oem rebootRUU”, which returns:

HTC One Mini: My HTC one will not not turn on or charge!

Does not work, I have an HTC one phone that I got about 3 months ago and I was in my room looking at Instagram then I pressed the power button to put it into sleep mode, when I tried to awake it failed and shut down completely, I have tried all the combinations of buttons and the light sensor with the charger. I have also tried different chargers and it still will not turn on or buzz for reboot. I had plugged it in my PC and it made a sound ensuring that it was charging but no matter what the red light to indicate charging won't turn on. Please help I want to make sure there is no other way too bring it back to life before I bring it to a repair person.

HTC One Mini: No Title (You should edit this question)

Hi , I am confused about something. My screen works fine but it is really cracked. The touch screen works and the display works as well, but there is this purple & green line down the middle of my screen. Half of screen turns white when I turn the phone on but when I turn the brightness all the way up, the white goes away and the screen works as it should. But every once in a while my brightness will go down and it will turn white again but I turn it back up and it works. Would I need an LCD screen or a Digitizer screen?

HTC One Mini: What is this motherboard component looking like a golden switch?

I noticed that when I pressed it while my smartphone was turned on, it was instantly switched off and it was then complicated to restart it (I have to unclip the tab attached to the battery, wait several minutes, etc.).

I find it difficult to close my smartphone in its shell because of this switch that forces me to re-disassemble the smartphone every time. This happens even if the smartphone was turned off before, then I can not turn it on.

Does anyone know what this component is and what is it for, please?

As you can see, there is several of it around the board but this is the only one which sutdown my phone.

HTC One Mini: Broken Volume Flex Cable

Hello experts,

Just got the volume flex cable broken while I was replacing the battery. I had done the replacement things multiple times with multiple device but never got into trouble with such an issue where on-board components get damaged.

After packing everything I saw the volume flex cable detached from the chassis and wanted to clean and attach with adhesive tape. I knew that these cables are fragile but as much as just swiping with a tissue would break it apart, I didn't know that.

Well that's it. I found the cable on AliExpress.com and want to order it [see pic below] but I don't know how would I replace it on the board. What else would I need to attach this volume cable/buttons to the board?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
