HTC One M9: Mic and the headphone work only when I make a pressure on the screen.

Hello, I got an HTC One M9+ device. When making phone calls, people can hear me only when I shift to the loudspeaker. The other mic and the headphone don’t work at all. But I realised that, when I make a pressure on the right bottom of the screen, as long as I keep pressing, they both work fine. What may be the reason, any guesses?

(Sorry, I had to choose M9, because M9+ is not listed in this site.)

HTC One M9: HTC One M9 is Dead to The World

Hi,

My HTC One M9 is just, well, completely dead. I have switched to another phone at this point - looks like I switched just in time. I had done nothing before but try a software update (which miraculously failed) and after that the bootloader locked the phone. I left it alone for a bit, and when I came back to it, the thing was completely unresponsive. Not even the PWR+VOLUP or PWR+VOLDWN+VOLUP tricks work. It can’t start at all.

EDIT: I should clarify - it doesn’t seem to charge either. The notification LED stays off, and absolutely nothing happens.

Is there any way to repair the phone?

Thanks

HTC One M9: HTC One M9 - Reception & Call quality problems.

My problem:

- Sometimes I do not get call reception in my home (people call me but I do not hear the phone ring)

- When I do talk to people on the phone in my home sometimes they say my voice comes off 'muffled'...not clear.

- However, when they tell me my voice is muffled....I still hear them perfectly.

What I've done to try to fix:

- New SIM card

- Various factory resets

- ****My HTC Desire 530 has NO issues in the same conditions in my home.***

- Talked to my cell phone provider already. Again, my HTC Desire has no issues in my home.

Questions:

1. Can a faulty antenna be the cause of a person hearing me as muffled .....while me still hearing them perfectly?

2. Could this be both an antenna and a microphone issue?

Any suggestions, advice? Thank you

HTC One M9: After Battery Swap on HTC One M9 Camera Stopped

I have an HTC One M9 and the battery was no longer holding a charge for more than an hour. So I ordered two new batteries, and the second one work. I have wonderful battery life now.

The problem is, every time I try to access the Camera app, I get an error message stating that the camera has stopped working.

I believe that while reassembling the HTC One M9, after the battery swap, that I must not have reconnected one of the connections correctly, hopefully, on of the ribbon cable zero insert force connectors. From watching a couple of tear down videos, this is most likely the daughterboard to the motherboard connection. Which of the zero insert force ribbon cables inside of the HTC One M9 is the connection for the camera/daughterboard? I think it is the top one on the left side as you look at the camera innards with the back cover off.

HTC One M9: LCD display connection problem?

So after replacing the charging port on my M9 the screen started acting up. It worked at first then only the backlight worked. After reconnecting the lcd cable a couple times its working now but any downward pressure on the screen causes it to flicker, fade, spazz out colors and eventually turn black, it goes back to normal if you remove the pressure

Is the an explanation for this? I was told by a local repair shop that the lcd cable was fine as most problems are either the screen works or it doesn't.

Should I just leave it like this? I can't use a case as the added pressure of a case induces the issue, but without a case its like new. Very annoying.
