HTC One: White screen debugging not enabled

Hi cut a long story short, HTC m7 is stuck on the white screen logo. Tried a few recovery reboots but the power button crumbled and came off. The casing is damaged. Not fussed about the phone but need access to the internal memory. I’ve tried a number of recovery software trials but they need debugging enabled and I don’t believe this was enabled. It charges, given the lack of power button, I’ve got it on perma charge to stop it from completely dying. Any suggestions on how to retrieve the photos?

HTC One: (video included) OnePlus 6 extremely slow + screen blinking

Video of the phone:

What happened:

- battery died and replaced it with a new one

- used heat gun on the back to open the phone

Issues:

- after battery replacement, it takes cca 5 seconds to respond to everything

- if I turn on/off the screen...it starts blinking continuously (when screen active)

- I put the old battery back and faced the same issues

- I've never had any issues with it before replacing the battery

Phone: One Plus 6

Can you please advise me on what should I do to fix it?

Thank you

HTC One: Why is my M7 constantly rebooting without allowing access to settings?

My HTC One M7 is constantly rebooting without allowing access to anything but the reboot page. Can't get into settings or apps or anything.

I tried power and + and - volume, and that does bring up other menus but I tried all of them except factory re-set and none work, it just goes back to constantly rebooting (and getting very hot) . I don't want to do factory re-set as for long time the phone has refused to sync before this rebooting episode occurred and much data and photos I want to keep are not backed up.

There's a Youtuber who suggests the problem could be a faulty power switch, but his film clip is on at least x2 speed, probably faster and its impossible to see what he does to fix problem. Anyone out there got a solution for me please?

HTC One: No sound in music player apps when offline?

My HTC One M7 when I'm playing music that I've downloaded while onine. Will not play offline. I've also downloaded three separate MP3 players. Tjeir music library is familiar with, and they won't play either. The time stamp shows the seconds are being counted off so I know it's playing in apps, and none of these including Google play music no sound comes out. Is this due to an update where I can't listen to music offline? Or something wrong with my device and how do I fix it? Is It Something in settings perhaps? Thank you for the timely response and I would greatly appreciate an accurate solution to my problem if it can be remedied. Ive owned three separate M7 in the past, and I absolutely love this device, 1 even went 55 miles an hour off the roof of a car onto pavement and survived with a cracked screen so you understand why I would like to know what's going on, thanks in advance for the timely response.

With kindest regards,

HTC One: Phone is only charging when in bootloader, but not when turned on/off!

For some reason, the phone is only charging when in bootloader, but not when turned on/off!

when turned on, it will display that its charging but the battery percentage never goes up at all even after hours.

when turned off, it will display the lightning in the batter for maybe 5 seconds, then switch to an exclamation mark with no percentage below.

What's wrong??? Is there any reason that the bootloader, with the screen (the white screen, which I assume is super power hungry) on all the time, allows for more efficient charging?

Another weird thing about is, if I clean the charging port with alcohol, it will charge normally for maybe half a day, and the problem comes back again.

HTC One: Microphone is not won't work even after replacing it with a new one!

Hi there,

my m7 had the pink camera issue for which the phone was opened and the daughter board was changed.

the phone was put back together and was closed with a new back cover.

now after turning the phone on the primary mic has stopped working (the secondary works though).

i've also bought and replaced the mic + usb flex cable today, thinking that the flex might have been damaged, but it didnt seem to work... The usb port and the bottom speaker work properly, the issue is only with the microphone.

(note: the usb port did work properly even before replacing the cable)

would highly appreciate it if someone could get me out of this mess.

thanks

HTC One: Broke one internal connector and an internal cable

I tried to replace the internal battery of my HTC One M7 phone, after every repair shop refused to do it because they claimed that the screen breaks upon opening the phone.

I actually managed to open the phone without breaking the screen but, Somehow I pulled too strong from one of the data cables in the right side of the motherboard and the white plastic connector attached to the motherboard broke. The connector pins scattered all around.

At that moment I knew I screwed it, but I continued disasembling and accidentally cut a second cable, that goes from the back of the case to the motherborard. I did it trying to get off a metallic sticker. I think this one can be replaced, but I have no idea how to order it.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the phone is dead unless I replace the whole motherboard, but I wanted to ask here in case someone has any advice that can give me a small light of hope.

Thank you very much.
