HTC One: Phone won't charge after battery replacement?!

Hi!

I'm using the HTC One M7, (which I know is a bit outdated, but I like it). I've used it for like 2,5 years, and my only problem with it is the battery life. So I ordered a new original battery and replaced it yesterday. After 3+ hours the battery change was complete, (I followed a video on youtube) and I booted up the device. It worked fine! There was only 6% battery power left, since the replacement battery have been sitting on a shelf since 2015. I plugged in the charger, but it didn't charge. At this point the phone had 4% left and was running, but it didn't accept any charge. Then it ran out of battery and died. I tried leaving it on for hours to charge, but the orange light that usually shines wouldn't come on. I've tried holding down the power button and volume up or down, or all of them. Still nothing. I've tried a 2,1 ampere charger to "jump start it". But that didn't work either.

When I plug it in to a USB-port on my computer it says: "unknown usb device needs more power than the port can supply".

So, should I give up and change back to the original battery or is there anything else I could try?

Thanks

HTC One: White screen debugging not enabled

Hi cut a long story short, HTC m7 is stuck on the white screen logo. Tried a few recovery reboots but the power button crumbled and came off. The casing is damaged. Not fussed about the phone but need access to the internal memory. I’ve tried a number of recovery software trials but they need debugging enabled and I don’t believe this was enabled. It charges, given the lack of power button, I’ve got it on perma charge to stop it from completely dying. Any suggestions on how to retrieve the photos?

What happened:

- battery died and replaced it with a new one

- used heat gun on the back to open the phone

Issues:

- after battery replacement, it takes cca 5 seconds to respond to everything

- if I turn on/off the screen...it starts blinking continuously (when screen active)

- I put the old battery back and faced the same issues

- I've never had any issues with it before replacing the battery

Phone: One Plus 6

Can you please advise me on what should I do to fix it?

My HTC One M7 has the purple tint camera issue. HTC wouldn't repair it (long story), so is there a way to fix it myself? I don't think replacing just the lens would do anything. I think it's a heat related issue. Would adding thermal paste to the heat plate help it?

HTC One: Dead Motherboard. Burn connector

So I have an M7 that it’s been dead since 2014. A little of water on the microusb made a burn and fried my motherboard.

I sent it to an third party repair shop and they told me that the motherboard was dead that they can’t fix it.

The support from HTC is garbage, they can’t send replacements from one country to another, so even if I go to the official service they can’t help me (even if they made and exception to accept such and old phone).

A motherboard from Europe is more than the cost of the phone, so is not worth it.

What I’m asking is for reference to a good video or manual so I can repair it myself, the phone is already dead so no problem if I &&^& it up.

IDK if someone will read this, I’m gonna post it all over the internet till someone helps me and reply the correct answers to aid fellow poor guys like me.

Thanks!
