HTC Incredible 2: Why won't my phone charge anymore?

The phone suddenly won't accept a charge anymore. It was working fine but now it's dead no matter how long it is charging. WHHHYYYY issss this HAPPENING?

When the battery runs out, I charge it then try to turn it back on. When I do so, the phone pauses on the android "eye" for longer than normal. What's wrong with it?

I unlock the SIM to suit local Network Operator in Nigeria, but no network on the phone when local SIM is inserted.

My Droid Incredible 2 won't turn on at all. I tried charging for a long period of time but still it won't turn on but the charging indicator functions and when I unplug it from the charger, the indicator just keep on functioning.

There's no physical damage on my phone. I just can't understand why it just won't turn on. My friend said it might have a software damage.

Please help me, I have very important documents on my phone.
