HTC Droid Incredible: My phone won't update

For weeks my phone will not update to the latest version of android, i am currently at version 2.3.4. What happens is I get the alert that there is a software update, it is downloaded and verified. I click for my phone to restart and install, it goes through the countdown, then says restarting now. However, it never restarts. The other problem is when I go to the about phone menu in settings and tap on software updates it says that my phone is up to date.

What can I do??

HTC Droid Incredible: I replaced my display but it still isn't working.

I broke the display screen on the inside of my Incredible. The touch screen is ok, but the display inside was cracked in about three different places.

I ordered a replacement screen with the same part number (60H00291-00P) that is suppose to be an OEM LCD with LED backlight replacement.

My phone was originally an AMOLED display phone. Would that be the problem?

The factory display worked before I took it out, but even it isn't working when I install it on the phone now.

Any suggestions?

The connector was damaged upon removing old broke part which was the charging flex cable. I need a new connector to solder back on the motherboard for the flex cable to clamp into. Where can I get this connector?

Lately i been dropping my phone but, nothing happened until my phone turned into a bluish/greenish screen and wont go back to original color, i want it fixed so it would go back to normal. What do i do?
