HTC Amaze: Why is the sound distorted when I use headphones?

Any time I plug in headphones to listen to music the audio cuts in and out and sounds scratchy. The phone speaker works completely fine when I play music directly through it. I also know the headphones work fine, I've plugged them into my computer and they sound fine.

HTC Amaze: HTC 10 Not Working After Battery Replacement

The battery of my HTC 10 was in poor condition. The charge was running out quickly. When the battery dropped below 40 percent, the phone was heating up and closing. Recently, the phone heated up again and turned off. I put it in to charger again, but the phone wasn't on. Upon this, I replaced the battery with original one but phone is not turning on and not charging. How can i fix it ? Charger port and cable in good condition. i tried diffrent charger and cable. Still, not working.

Pls help me. Thank you.
