<title><![CDATA[HP Touchsmart 300: Motherboard Power Light Flashes when power adapter is plugged in.]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>My HP Touchsmart 320 1050 Motherboard LED flashes when i plug in the power adapter then the power adapter light dims and the motherboard light goes off.  I have tried different power adapters and still nothing.  any help would be appreciated.</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Touchsmart 300: Startup repair recovery screen]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>The unit was sitting unpowered and unplugged for a few years. When booting PC the system detects an error and goes directly to a start up recovery screen and the on screen options are to start the recovery or cancel.. The problem is I can’t use the touch screen and the mouse and keyboard are not being detected either.. Trying to figure out what happened.. The keyboard and mouse are wireless and the system is a 320 not a 300</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Touchsmart 300: Screen cycles from black to color test bars]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>When turned on the screen stays blank then goes gray then goes to a screen with red green blue and white bar horizontally placed. Just cycles through those screens over and over. no beeps from internals. Seems like computer is running and booting fine, just the display is not working correctly</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Touchsmart 300: Windows 7 installations and restart issues?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I am helping a  friend with his computer that he got from another friend.  When you turn on the computer. It ask if you want to see *Bios by pressing f10</p>

<p>*Then next screen after some landing says press shift+f10 to see a different Bios screen and setup.</p>

<p>*Then before it start to load windows it ask me which version I want to load with 7 different options that all say windows 7</p>

<p>*regardless of which version I pick, even in safe mode, this screen comes up and says</p>

<p><strong>The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed.  To install Windows, click &quot;ok&quot; to restart the computer, and the restart the installation. </strong></p>

<p>I have exhausted my computer knowledge and now looking you guys for help.</p>

<title><![CDATA[HP Touchsmart 300: touchscreen 300 Screen does not stay on]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I first got a blue screen and took it to a shop and they mention the ram because after they had it the screen went blank and couldn't get it to show the screen anymore.  Turning off and on the power (power is on) the screen remained blank.</p>

<p>I replaced the ram and I got the screen and everything worked. After about 10 minutes the screen went to sleep, but I couldn't get it back on at all.  I took the ram out and put it back in and it went on to slowly go off again within a few minutes. I went back in and removed and replaced the ram and it worked each time for a few minutes.  What should I do next.</p>
