I was working on my HP 470 g3 motherboard and all of a sudden the screen went blank and I discovered that the most of the components in the motherboard including the processor starts overheating immediately I plug the battery. Please what component could be responsible for making almost all the components in the motherboard board to overheat.?

Hi, I've just recently decided to upgrade my laptop but don't have the budget to purchase these newer more powerful laptops, I bought a new DDR4 32gb RAM, 2 500gb PCIe NVME SSDs for a 1TB gig, and new battery. To save a bit of money I've decided to install these components myself, and I'm in need of a step by step guide on where to start and how to go about it. Thanks.
