HP ProBook 440 G7: Keypad is no longer working

Hi All,

I’m reaching out to kindly ask for your help regarding my 5-year-old HP ProBook laptop. I’ve recently encountered an issue where the keyboard suddenly stopped working, and I’m unsure what caused it. As much as possible, I’d like to avoid any hardware replacement, so I was wondering if there are any troubleshooting steps or possible fixes I could try first.

Any guidance, suggestions, or support you can provide would be truly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!

Hi Jayeff,

Thanks you for checking my inquiry. I have checked it and as per image below it is working properly.

As for the concern if it’s gotten wet, when I am cleaning the keyboard I usually used a wet wipes to remove the dirt.

What do you think the best thing to do?
