HP Probook 4425s: PC won't turn on with or without charger, battery lamp blinking white

I got a notification to replace the laptop battery, so I bought a new battery and adapter. But the laptop wouldn't turn on without charger plugged in, so I plugged in the charger. When charging, the indicator tells it is charging but the battery percentage doesn't increase nor decrease, so I always plug in the charger when I'm using laptop. Every time I plug in the charger, the laptop suddenly turns itself on without me pressing the power button. Then a few days later my laptop wouldn't turn on with or without a charger/battery. Every time I connect the charger, the battery light only blinks white.

I left my laptop for days and after that, I tried to turn it on again with the battery and connected to the charger, it worked, the laptop turned on. But after a while it turns off itself again and when I want to turn it on the same thing happens again, the laptop doesn't turn on and the battery light flashes white. I have try with the old AC and battery, but it is the same, blinking white battery light. Even though I removed the battery, the laptop should be able to turn on if it is connected to a charger, right?Does someone know what went wrong? Please help me.

Actually my laptop is HP Probook 5220m.

HP probook 4440s: DC power jack worn out

This computer no longer charges when I plug it in. I cleaned both the male and female plug contacts carefully, and for about a year, I could finesse the plug a little, then the charging indicator light would change from white to orange, and all was well, but even that doesn't work anymore. Recently I bought a new charger and plug harness. Using the new charger helped a little, but not enough. I think the port itself is worn out. What tools do I need besides an anti-static mat, and a star key wrench set to install the new plug and wire harness? Will the do-it-yourself videos on YouTube provide enough guidance to do this safely?

HP probook 4440s: Sound on headphones don't stay on

Recently when I plug in my headphones the sound doesn't work, I have to mute it and unmute it several times before it starts working again. It is very irritating because I won't hear messages coming in from games, skype, fb or other things like that. How to fix this? (My headphones work perfectly on other laptops and phones)
