<![CDATA[iFixit - Answers With Device "HP ProBook 430 G6"]]> https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/Device/HP_ProBook_430_G6?rss=yes en-US Thu, 02 Jul 2026 21:58:11 -0700 <![CDATA[HP ProBook 430 G6: Why is my laptop not charging?]]> i have a HP probook 430 g6 and it is turning on fine and working flawlessly except charging the battery. i bought and installed a new battery and it can run on the battery power that came in the new battery but it wont charge at all (i've tried using both the dc power jack and the usb c for charging). i did already try all of the software solutions i could find online without success like holding the power button down for 15 - 30 seconds and deleting the windows driver for the battery. it still doesn't charge it shows an orange light and it looks like it is charging but no incoming power is reaching the battery. does anyone know how to (attempt to) fix this problem?
